“Perfect holiday vacation apartment” We loved everything about this apartment - from its excellent location near the promenade, shops, supermarkets, bus stops and entertainment venues, to the decor (modern and clean), the facilities (hot water on demand, great information booklet and folder, equipped with everything you could possibly need) and the quiet to come back to after a long days sight seeing. We'll most definitely be back!

“A great location with fantastic views” Nice is a great destination well served with flights from the UK. Transfer from Nice airport is convenient with bus 98 for €4. Vague Blu is right on the Promenade de Anglais, bus stop Lenval from the airport is nearby. There is a convenient supermarket just arround the corner. The beach is across the road from the apartment. The appartment was clean and had all that we needed. My top tips are: Sign up for the "Velo Bleu" bike rental. It is just a great way to get to the old town and centre of Nice using the cycle lanes of the Promenade de Anglais. Get out and explore using the buses, €1 per trip. Try Mount Boron and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat for a nearby change of scene. The only down side is the traffic noise from the Promenade de Anglais. It can be a bit intrusive as it is a busy road. There are however plenty of light controlled crossing points of the road making it easy and safe to cross.

“Even better second time round.” Lovely apartment overlooking the old port, with views across to the Chateau. Everything you need is on the doorstep, from pubs and restaurants to a small supermarket and boulangerie just around the corner. David and Claudia, the owners, were very quick to respond to any queries, and Julie, who met us on arrival, was very helpful. This was our second time in the apartment, and since our last visit a new kitchen has been installed. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the port with a glass of wine is about as good as it gets. Be aware that the apartment is on the fourth floor, and there is no lift, so it might not suit anyone with mobility problems. Apart from that, just perfect, and we can't wait to go back.

“We'll be back :-)” The kids loved the beautiful garden with soft grass to play on. And their swimming skills increased tremendous by "living" in the pool. Both cosy and practical house with bedrooms on three levels and bathrooms everywhere. Really helpful service offered by both the owner and the property manager. We'll be back!

“Beautiful apartment, fantastic views” Used the apartment as a base for the Historic Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival, and it was great. As stated in the description, the apartment was refurbished recently, and its cooking facilities, shower, bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi and lounge are all top-notch. That said, the very best feature is the balcony with superb views over Nice, the port and the open Med. Our thing is to come back late on after a day out, do a quick dinner, then eat it on a balcony with something to look at - this we did almost every night in the apartment. Lazy breakfasts watching cruise ships dock in the port makes me pine for a return... There are two spuermarkets within ten minutes walk - we'd recommend the Carrefore UP the hill because you can walk up with the apartment's (very useful) shopping trolley, and be pushed back down with it full. There's a bus stop right outside, but be warned that drivers won't stop if they're going too fast or if they think they're a bit full. We found that walking into town wasn't a big deal anyway. The nearest train station (Riquier) is about 20-25 mins walk, but we found that to be no problem.There's so much to do and see in the area, and the apartment is just a great base. If we're returning to the area, I'd not hesitate to book it again.
