Casa Zia Beppina is situated in the District of San Concordio just outside the medieval walls of Lucca's historic centre. Situated in a quiet residential street in closed-end Fund, Casa Zia Beppina is strategically located to enjoy all the comforts of a stay in Lucca without ever getting in the car. The Interior of the walls is now largely pedestrian area, and if this makes certainly more pleasant to stroll through the streets of the old town, find parking and travel by car is rather complicated except for residents with special permission. From Casa Zia Beppina you can reach the heart of the city in 10 minutes with a short and pleasant walk along the cycle path of Viale San Concordio through shops and banks. There is also a supermarket "Esselunga" with shopping mall, laundries, bars, trattorias and pizzerias within walking distance from the apartment, and just 50 metres there is a "bar-gelateria-pizzeria-trattoria" open until midnight (closed on Wednesdays) where upon request you may also use the service to your door. Private car parking is offered in front of the House and the owners Aldo and Cinzia are always at your disposal for any information and advice that will make your stay even more pleasant in Lucca. On the ground floor the apartment Magnolia (60 sqm) with entrance from the back garden of the House. Magnolia apartment consists of one double bedroom with extra single bed, bathroom with shower, equipped kitchen with oven, living room with TV and dining table. There is the dishwasher and the washing machine but a self-service laundry is just a few steps from the apartment. Sleeps: 2 + 1. Guests can enjoy the private garden on the four sides of the House, the parking is guaranteed and free wi-fi and always active. Magnolia apartment is conveniently located: 500 metres to from the historic centre of Lucca, just 500 meters from the exit "Lucca Est" of the motorway A11 Firenze-Mare and 700 metres from the train station. There is also a bus stop just 200 metres away (in Viale Europa) with connections to/from Florence, Pisa, Torre del Lago and Viareggio (beaches of Versilia). The city of Lucca, surrounded by the fertile plain of the river Serchio, between the Apuan Alps and mount Pisano, is surrounded by 16th century walls, entirely preserved and 4.2 km long. Six doors are the gateway to access ' dentro le mura ', where visitors meet secular palaces, towers and bell towers along the paved narrow alleys that, sometimes opening to features small squares, of which the best known is certainly Piazza dell'anfiteatro. Everywhere, shops for shopping, small bars, wine bars, restaurants and taverns that invite to taste the lucchese cuisine, really not to be missed. Looking at Lucca from above, from one of the many towers of the city, you can admire an enchanting view over the red roofs, surrounded by greenery with on the peaks of the Apuan Alps. Seen that Lucca is well connected by railway line, you can also visit other Tuscan cities without having to take the car. Pisa, Viareggio (beaches of Versilia), Montecatini Terme and Pistoia are within a very short time. In about 45 minutes you reach comfortably in Florence. Aldo and Cinzia can also arrange a shuttle service from/to the airport and other destinations.
