“Magical Gordes Hideaway” I stayed at Belle de Jour early October and even then the weather was just about perfect for touring in the car and walking. The house itself is all charm, very comfortable, very quiet and nicely secluded down a rustic lane. Very clean and it seems very well managed. Had no problems with anything and would be happy to rent again if I'm lucky enough to get more holidays in Provence.
“Charming renovated apartment in fabulous central village location” My husband and I spent two weeks in this fabulous central location in the delightful village of L'isle sur la sorgue. The apartment had been renovated just prior to our arrrival and it was most tasteful with an overall theme of grey and white. The kitchen amenities were excellent with electric oven, cooktop and microwave. Laundry facilities were terrific with an automatic washing machine, drying rack, ironing board & iron. The bathroom featured a beautiful roomy shower with heated towel rail. The apartment itself was most comfortable with roomy couches, satellite television and I-Pod docking station. Wi-fi access was provided gratis which was marvellous for planning excursions. A special feature was the small balcony off the living area at first floor level where breakfast was a delightful experience watching the village awaken each day. A daily ritual was buying freshly baked bread at the local boulangerie. We chose to eat out each evening at one of the many beautiful open-air restaurants. The village itself provides wonderful access to many other delightful villages and towns in Provence by either car, train and local bus.
“Perfection again” We first stayed at Les Oliviers in September 2012 and loved it so much that we decided we wanted to return in the lavender season. It was already booked for 2013! so we cheekily asked if we could book for 2014, which we did.
We returned for 2 weeks in June/July and it was as fabulous as the 1st time.
The gite was immaculate, gardens stunning and views of the Luberon were amazing.
David & Karen were again the perfect hosts giving us ideas for new places to visit and restaurants to try. All the recommendations were spot on.
See the lavender around the Luberon was an added bonus, but to be honest this place is perfect anyway.
Thank you David & Karen for ensuring that we had a fabulous holiday again. We will return.
