This place was one of the best places we stayed at during our honeymoon which covered France, Spain and Portugal. Antonio was very helpful and you basically have a fully self contained little flat with a pool and a great little garden and it's only about 15 minutes drive to Sintra town. Sunny flat in Old Town Sintra
A gem of a place - just perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer. The apartment was decorated lovely and everything was in good condition & clean. The kitchen had everything you needed, from saucepans, utensils, matching plates etc, 2 different types of coffee machines, plus full dishwasher, cooker etc. The outside area was closed in making it fairly private which was nice. There was even a great selection of dvd's to watch & decent size tv, but with all that Sintra has to offer you won't have much time for TV... What a great location, The apartment is only a very short walk (less than 5 mins) to Sintra train station & the tourist bus (434/435). A small grocery store 1 min away - 2 restaurants less than 5 mins away. Francisco & Joana have put so much thought into ensuring that their guest have a comfortable stay. Family Holiday in a beautiful part of Portugal

Superb appartment and maintained to such a high standard. The owner had thought of everything! Really was one of the best holidayrentals we have experienced. The appartment was in an excellent location close to a number of superb beaches one of which just a short walk away. The village was a charming friendly place with most amenities including a small grocery store that seemed to sell everything. There is so much to see and do in the local area with Sintra and Belem being a must do. Good idea to hire a car as there is a lot to see outside local area. If you like walking be sure to take some sturdy shoes as it is "hilly" but worth it as the cliff walks are really worth doing. … see more
Sintra ideal pied-a-terre.
A comfortable, well-equipped apartment with character in an excellent location

We stayed in the apartment for 12 nights in early September. Karin (the owner) met us at the airport and also took us to the supermarket. The apartment was bigger than we expected with a separate kitchen, combined living and dining area, a bedroom and bathroom. Outdoor space comprised sole use of a big terrace (both sun and shade) with furniture, barbeque and extensive views. We could just see the towers of the palace at Mafra in the distance. The apartment is in the peaceful Estefania district of Sintra, five minutes walk from the market hall (fresh fish and excellent pastries) the museum of modern art and the stop for the antique tram which runs at weekends down to the coast at Praia de Macas. An easy 15-20 minute walk will take you to the main train station (40 minutes into Lisbon) and then downhill into the historic centre. We enjoyed this walk, which has great views across the town - and we appreciated being away from the tourist traffic. Sintra is a perfect base for a holiday. We found plenty to do in the town itself - we loved the forest walking paths up to and around the castle and the Pena palace as well as exploring the pretty Sao Pedro district (worth a trip for a good lunch). A local bus service links all the palaces if you don't fancy the walk. The weather was good during our stay, with plenty of sun, but the mist can descend from the mountains - which is part of Sintra's romantic appeal. Karin provides a dehumidifier in the bedroom of the apartment and we found we did need to use it when the humidity was high. Apartment with lovely mountain and golf view
Home from home

Fernandos gave us a warm welcome and explained very well how everything works in the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, modern and bright. The kitchen is a nice open space and has everything you need and even more, like juice, a home made cake and wine! The beds and bedrooms are quiet facing the golf course. You can enjoy a large balcony with comfortable chairs and tables and a very nice view on the mountains. Ideal place for having breakfast or chilling out after a hot day.
