We had a great time at Fatima’s condo. Near the shops, restaurants and beach. Buses easy to pick up nearby to mont choisy and other beaches. Mr chand the security guard so helpful. Condo was massive and had everything in it you could need. Pool was directly outside. It was cleaned daily and we used it every day too. Modern spacious villa with own pool,close to beach,amenities, excellent location
That was the best choice!

We (2 persons, aged 66 and 69) spent nearly three weeks in Villa Rosa and we felt at home all the time. The photos are showing the interior of the house very well. Everything is in a good and clean condition. Especially the kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. Besides there are well-stocked supermarkets in Grand Baie, so we didn't go to any restaurant, but prefered spending the evening on the veranda. Generally the surrounding was very quiet in the evening. We have been afraid that there would be a lot of noise coming from "Residence du Nord" which is situated right opposite, but there wasn't any. We have to thank Shirley and Linlay for the good communication and organization in the run-up to our holidays: A taxi-driver was waiting at the airport though we arrived at 7 a.m. We got a car brought to Villa Rosa and paid almost the half of the amount which one has to pay at Avis etc. During our stay Linlay took care of all our questions and problems. Even when I had to go to a dentist she gave me the adress of a very good private clinic with a european standard. Thank you! If we come back? If Villa Rosa would be situated in the southern part of Mauritius, probably! In the North we found a good touristical infrastructure, nice beaches and just Villa Rosa. But the landscape is a little bit boring, flat, above all planted with sugar-cane, which was cut and burnt in November, so that the land was yellow and brown. In the South, where we went afterwards for 8 days, the landscape was more tropical and looked more interesting because of the mountains. But our house wasn't by far so well maintained as Villa Rosa! … see more

The perfect stay

A fantastic holiday. To experience the charm and beauty of the Mauritian lifestyle, this is the place. Magna and her family were first rate, providing all the help we needed such as car rental, evening meals and a wonderful boat trip to nearby islands, including a fantastic barbecue. The villa, situated in the north gets the best weather, warm and mostly rain free. The beaches nearby are superb and as close to a picture postcard as you could get. The proximity of the nearby restaurants and supermarkets is so handy too. The villa garden has to be seen to be believed and for a bird lover it is exceptional. Domarjana Holidays - Le palmiste: up to 8 people
Relaxing and comfortable base for a superb holiday.

A spacious and well equipped villa providing comfortable accommodation. With a patio, balcony and large garden, outdoor relaxation watching the multi coloured birds is a natural part of the holiday. A car is an advantage to tour the island but not essential as a bus stop is just two minutes away. Frequent buses take you to Pereybere for 12 rupees and Grand Baie for a little more. Taxis are also easily hired for local trips or a days tour at reasonable prices. One of the best and most scenic beaches at Bain Boeuf is just a five minute walk from the villa. If you are self catering a large modern supermarket is located close to Pereybere, approximately 20 minute walk from the villa and there are several small restaurants nearby. Natacha's father was present to welcome us on our arrival, providing all the local information we needed and returned to see us prior to our departure. An excellent holiday. … see more
Domarjana Holidays (Hibiscus): for 2 people
Lovely spacious apartment in a very convenient spot

We have just come back from three and a half weeks at this apartment, and we loved it. It has everything you could want, including wifi, air conditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. (The washing machine wasn’t connected during our stay, but this is going to be sorted out very soon) The balcony is huge and great for relaxing and eating outside. The owner Mr Marie is a really lovely man, and although not living close by, is always available to attend to any needs. Bain Boeuf public beach is 5-10 minutes stroll away, and there are restaurants and supermarkets not far away. Just one note — the apartment is on the second floor (around 40 steps) so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. All in all, a lovely place and excellent value for money.
