Lovely villa on an amazing stretch of beach.....paradise!

The location is in the perfect location with stunning views. The villa is situated with the beach on your doorstep and is modern, spacious and ideal for a family holiday. The two maids Ashwani and Shalini cleaned the villa, did all our washing and cooked us delicious meals every day. They even arranged a birthday lunch for my son decorating the apartment in true Mauritian style. I cannot thank them enough for all they did and for making us feel so welcome. La Belle Maison De Bel Air
Peaceful, spacious and central

The property is in a very quite location with beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. The property has ground, 1st and 2nd floor. Each floor is a spacious apartment with full kitchen. Very clean and can get the cleaner in every three / four days. Fifteen minutes drive from the airport. The owner was present at the time we visited and came to pick us up at the airport, helped out in getting a local mobile Sim and went out of his way to assist and provide advice. Maheboug town centre is 5 min drive, which has a nice water front. Blue bay beach is 20 mins drive. We found that the location was ideal to exploring the island, as going north, south or east would take an hour. Hence, would recommend hiring a car but there are plenty of private taxi's that would take you on Island tour. Slight drawback for us was the availability of vegetarian restaurants around this part of the Island. Great place with very friendly and down to earth owner. Thank you Lindsey. Villa D Alisha suited our needs in terms of geographic location and that it accommodated the whole family of 9. The rooms, even though in the same Villa offered some privacy & reflection time without disturbance from other family members. The service provided was exceptional and wouldn't fault it. La Belle Maison De Bel Air
A wonderfully spacious, smart and comfortable apartment with great views and a pool.

We stayed at La Belle Maison de Bel Air for 12 nights in February and found it well equipped and comfortable. The pool was great for cooling off and the veranda was particularly pleasant at breakfast time in the morning sun. The pretty garden attracted many birds and was well maintained. We did find that we needed a car as it was quite a way into town and we wanted to explore the whole island anyway. The views from the apartment were lovely and we found Mahebourg fascinating if rather chaotic. There is no internet at the property but there are internet cafes in town which are very inexpensive. There is no dishwasher either which might be an issue for a family but there were only two of us so it wasn't really a problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the property as an excellent base for discovering Mauritius. … see more

Comfortable villa near the beach.

The villa itself has everything you need for the perfect break, plus a lovely garden and a nice pool. It's just a few minutes walk to a nice public beach. The owner Diane was simply fantastic - nothing was too much trouble, from helping us book taxi services, baby equipment, and even lending us her own babies' clothes when our luggage was delayed.
