Great location, perfect place !

Hi, Went to Mauritius for 2 weeks, spent the first one there. The house is brand new, lot of space, well designed with all the facilities. Was great to relax in the morning and evening after visiting the island. The location is perfect to explore the island and to access the best beach. The view is beautiful and the swimming pool very relaxing with shelter so you can enjoy it for hours. I would definitely rent it again if I go back to Mauritius. … see more

Villa Ayr: 3 Bedroom Family Size Apartment
Perfect Holiday

Where one decides to stay on a holiday is a matter of personal preference and my wife and I prefer not to stay in hotels. We specifically look for an apartment or a house because that has a personal touch to it and allows us to get a flavour of the local life. By staying at Villa Ayr in Mauritius, we could do exactly that. Brigitte and James, who own Villa Ayr, are an expatriate couple. While building their house, they have paid a lot of attention to small details especially towards providing amenities and ensuring that one gets that relaxed and authentic homely feeling. The house is located in the district of Pamplemousses, next to Trou-aux-Biches, a lovely beach along the northern coast of the island. We found it to be the most relaxed and picturesque part of the island barely 5 minutes of walk away from the part of beach from where you can witness spectacular sunsets. We stayed at one of the studios in the property and the nine days that we spent there, we will cherish forever. The best part was to get to know both Brigitte and James personally. We went to stay at their house as guests and returned having made two wonderful friends who were there looking out for us all the time. We have deliberately left a few things undone because we intend to return soon asap. … see more

Was delighted to see the hospitality and the facilities. Things to note: Beautiful villa 3 bedroom, (ACs are only in bedrooms.) hall, kitchen, dining area and a pool + spa. Appliances like microwave, juicer, toaster, oven, coffee maker, dishwasher, iron and washing machine were provided. The pool area was part of the apartment which is cleaned every week and has moving water - Barbecue grill was also in the apartment. 5 minutes to beach and 5 minutes to super market by car. There are couple of restaurants. Overall, I would love to go back there. … see more
