The apartment Piroguevilla
Hidden Gem, fantastic hosts and most be almost the best apartment in the area

We have just finished our three week stay at these wonderful apartments. The hospitality of our hosts was excellent, the ensured all our needs and questions were answered and were always around to offer a helping hand if needed. The apartments are ideally situated about 300 metres from the amazing Pereybere Beach - an easy walk even with our infant, but also far enough away that you are in a peaceful setting with no road noise or bus noise. The apartments had everything required for a very comfortable stay. Did we like it? Would we recommend it? - Well actions speak louder than words and we booked another seven week stay in the same apartments for next year. Could not fault anything. Pereybere Pearl - Apartment facing Pereybere beach
Great value for a pleasant stay in Pereybere.

We stayed at Pereybere Pearl for 6 nights and the time there really flew by. Our week was packed with activities so we didn't spend much time during the day in Pereybere but did enjoy our nights and mornings. Here's what we thought about this property. Pereybere Pearl: Inside looks just like the pictures posted. I assume it's been newly renovated because the building looks older and is a bit more run down on the outside. The kitchen & living area was very well furnished and walked out to a nice balcony overlooking the main street. Bedrooms were clean & comfortable and the AC kept us cool. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with towels. I had a car during my stay and parked it safely outside the front of the building. Wi-fi was included and worked fine but it took a few days to get the password. Service: Top notch hosts. Ashvin kept in touch by email during my stay and Sonu helped us with everything on site. Having a cell phone was very useful so I could communicate with Sonu during our stay. We had one issue with the hot water not staying on but it was resolved the next morning with Sonu. Just had to adjust the flow rates on the water heater. Location: It's nicely situated at the Northern tip of Mauritius right across the street from the Pereybere public beach. You're also a short walk from 3-4 restaurants, a few bars, and the Winners grocery store. That's all we needed for this trip so it suited us perfectly. The Beach: It was one of the smaller beaches we visited during the trip but it had the softest white sand out of all of them. I thought it was awesome for my morning swims because it was quiet, relaxing and never busy at that time. Suggestions: 1) It would be nice to have the Wi-fi password ready at check in. To get the password you would have to visit the internet café downstairs but it wasn't regularly open. 2) Some amenities I wish were included were some shampoo, dish and laundry detergent. If you have a small amount of those items to start the stay then you can relax and make the trip to Winners later. 3) Be aware that luggage must be carried up 3 stories. No problem if you're a backpacker but heavy suit cases can be painful. Bottom Line: The place was everything we expected so I thought it was a great value. Ashvin & Sonu did as much as they could to make it a comfortable stay which was really appreciated. Thanks again for the hospitality. Hope we get to return. … see more

Blue Sky Villa
A homely villa in residential Pereybere within walking distance of the beach and shops.

The villa was large, light and airy set in a private garden with a large terrace. Located in a residential area of Pereybere one feels part of 'real' Mauritius rather than just in a tourist area. And yet all amenities and the beach are all within walking distance so renting a car isn't necessary. The added bonus is that the villa has a telephone to receive in-coming calls - so staying in touch with home could not have been easier. Any problems with the villa were dealt with promptly. We decided not to stay in a hotel in order to mix more with the locals. It was a good decision. The Super U mall is walking distance, which is great. The best restaurant in Grand Baie in our opinion is Papparazzi which is 300m away. … see more

We had a beautiful stay at Villa Rosa. I had the pleasure of being touch with Shirley, the owner of the property when I was looking for a villa to rent for my holidays in Mauritius and she kindly assisted me with all my queries. I felt very comfortable when dealing with Shirley and the latter tried her best to accommodate all my needs. Shirley is a true professional and having met her personally, I must say that she is a very kind and warm lady as well. When we reached the Villa at the start of the holiday, we were welcomed by Lindsay, Shirley's sister who was also very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The villa was exactly as we dreamt it would be, very clean, very welcoming, very modern, I could go on and on, it was just GORGEOUS!!! When you rent somewhere online which you have not personally visited, you do get quite nervous as you do not know what to expect but in our case it was a pleasant surprise as everything was exactly as described. It's a beautiful, quiet haven and I highly recommend the villa to anyone! I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to Mauritius! We were a group of 8 and we loved every second of it, the view was amazing and the swimming pool is gorgeous!!!!
