Description

The exterior of the cottage is wooden clad in traditional Suffolk style and guests will be greeted with the large tri-fold patio doors to the front. Designated parking and a secure patio and garden allows guests to sit in comfort and enjoy the surroundings.

Shearers Cottage includes an enclosed private garden which is fenced to secure any little ones. Garden furniture and bbq is included for you to sit back and relax. Within the owners large enclosed garden children are welcome to enjoy the wooden play equipment and large trampoline as their grandchildren only visit occasionally. Please note

guests are responsible for the safety of their children at all times.

Guests are also welcome to enjoy walks across the owners fields to admire the views of the River Deben. Keen ramblers can enjoy beautiful riverside walks all the way to Woodbridge from the cottage. Situated at the rear of the cottage is the owners working farm, home to the free range Sutton Hoo chickens, children are welcome to explore the farm under parents supervision.

Had a lovely weekend cottage was spotless couldn’t find any faults would recommend cottage to anyone enjoyed the wine Thankyou I’m sure we will return next year Jayne

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
