This mid terraced cottage overlooks the river Esk in Whitby and can sleep five people in three bedrooms.Cricket Cottage is a modern, mid-terraced cottage in an elevated position above the River Esk on the outskirts of Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast. Boasting two double bedrooms and one single as well as a family bathroom, this cottage can sleep five people. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is a decked rear patio with garden furniture, a communal lawned area and off road parking for one car. Being just one mile from the centre of Whitby, and on the edge of the North Yorks Moors National Park, Cricket Cottage is the perfect holiday home for exploring the delights of this region. Please note - this property only accepts 7 night bookings starting on Saturday, if you wish to start your booking on a different day, please contact us before booking.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire with its superb coastline and the spectacular North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Gorgeous holiday home!!!

Yet another lovely stay in Cricket Cottage. We have now stayed so often, it's becoming a real home from home! Love visiting Whitby and the local countryside. Hopefully will visit again soon.
