Description

'An Cala Beag' (The Little Haven) is a newly refurbished self catering apartment in a stunning location on the popular Waternish peninsula with uninterrupted views across the sea to the islands of the Outer Hebrides. The picture window in the lounge facing south west, is the perfect place for relaxing and watching eagles overhead or spectacular sunsets in the evenings. This cosy apartment is an ideal, all year round, base for exploring the north of Skye, an area also blessed with many excellent restaurants.

The apartment is tucked away down a track, off the main road, attached to the main house but with its own separate entrance. A porch provides space for muddy boots and coats. Parking is to the side of the property.

The living area is open plan incorporating the seating area, well equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboard space and a dining table at which to enjoy your romantic meals in comfort. The lounge area has two leather chairs, a flame effect electric fire to keep you cosy, flat screen TV with FreeSat and DVD player and free Wifi.

The separate bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind. It has a double size pocket sprung memory foam bed, 300 thread count cotton bedding on the feather and down king-size quilt and pillows complete the feeling of luxury. The en-suite shower room incorporates a quadrant shower cubicle, w.c. and wash basin. There is a heated mirror with a shaving point. Towels are provided.

For 3 Nights Stay - changeover days Wednesday & Saturday - Please note these days can vary depending on time of year - contact owner for further information.

“Truly a little haven!”

Our communications with Hilary were always prompt from the start. Instructions (including photos) for locating the apartment were sent ahead of time and were essential! We were met by Hilary and Michael and shown the unit and given a gift of baked goods wine and homemade jam! Their home is attached but completely separate and we rarely saw them so it felt like we had the beautifully landscaped property to ourselves. The picture window was our spot for morning coffee and evening cocktails as we watched the ever changing skies. We had all the cooking equipment we needed as well as essential basic supplies. Thank you for a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend.

How do damage deposits work?
