Talamh Ur cottage is situated in a quiet crofting community on the beautiful Waternish Peninsular. Enjoy the the breathtaking panoramic sea views looking out to the Outer Hebrides, Dunvegan Head and the distant Cuillin mountains from the comfort of this spacious cottage.
Close by is the charming fishing village of Stein with the oldest inn on Skye and the well regarded Lochbay seafood restaurant. Boat trips can be taken from here to see dolphins, whales and other sealife. There are many places of interest to see, a tannery, potteries and craft shops
The famous Three Cimney's restaurant is within easy reach
The cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling, kayaking, fishing,birdwatching, beachcombing and other outdoor persuits
Nearby is the township of Dunvegan where you can visit Dunvegan Castle the ancient seat of the clan McCleod, worthwhile visiting the castle gardens and a boat trip to see the seals. Dunvegan also has a bakers, general store, garage and health

The master bedroom is ensuite with a kingsize bed, there is a further double room and two singles
The kitchen/diner is very spacious and well equipped with dishwasher,microwave and fridge freezer.. Utility room with tumble drier and washing machine
The large garden is secure with plenty of carparking space, the picnic table is the perfect place to sit at the end of the day and watch the sun set over the Hebrides.or spend a relaxing evening by a real log fire.!

Nearby is the the delightful village of Stein with the oldest inn on Skye (Stein Inn) and also the Lochbay seafood restaurant. The area is steeped in history and legends. Local boat trips available from Stein
