Description

The windmill is located in a peninsula with a 360° panoramic view on the Aegean Sea and its islands, on the ancient Venetian port and the church of Stavros, on the mountains and on the city of Tinos. Very close to the house there is a series of beautiful sand beaches (the closest one at less than 1 min walk), protected from the wind and ideal also for kids. Close by there are cobblestone beaches and rocks perfect for fishing. The windmill has been recently renovated respecting the traditional style and using only local and natural material. The ground floor features a dining room, a kitchen and a bathroom with shower, the first floor a bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom, the last floor a living room/ bedroom with two single beds, and the possibility to add a third one. The pavement of the first two floors is in traditional stone, the last floor is entirely in wood. Greek Tourism official MHTE number

Getting around

The house is at 15min walk from Tinos center and the port. A taxi costs around 4 euros. The best way to disover the island is by renting a car (advanced reservation is recommended in August)

“Unique Experience in a Quality Home”

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Tinos. The owner Matthaios could not have been more helpful and despite our language barriers we managed to get by. The windmill itself has been beautifully renovated and has everything you need for a perfect stay in Tinos which is a fantastic island to explore. The windmill is located a short walk out of the town but near enough to enjoy many lovely restaurants. The food in Tinos is probably the best we have tasted in Greece. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

How do damage deposits work?
