“Memorable holidays” Very nice stay. The whole village is one of the most picturesque villages in the Greek islands, where all the houses - most of them recently renovated with colorful Cycladic style gardens - are set amphitheatrically around the central square of the village. Villa Sophia is amazing. Although it is fully renovated and luxurious, they have maintained all the details of the original house that was built almost 150 years ago. We did feel that we traveled back in time. Some of the best family pictures were taken in this house. We will definitely miss the breakfast in our private garden as well as the very stylish swimming pool in the black-rock veranda of the villa. The service was very good and the staff was attentive and tactful. We did find the tranquility and the privacy that were looking for, although the distance from all the "must see" places of the island is 10 minutes by car (except from Oia that took us appx 30 minutes). We will definitely try to repeat it soon.
“Amazing stay!” I thought the Fava Residence was absolutely fantastic and certainly better than I had hoped for. It's a bit of a walk to get to (about 6 minutes from the nearest car park / bus stop) although at the same time I think this is part of the charm as it creates a sense of serenity away from the hustle and bustle of the very touristy areas fifteen minutes away. The residence itself is very well-managed, with an amazing view, clean facilities all around, very comfortable and sizeable rooms at what I found to be the best prices in Santorini. The owner himself was incredibly helpful and friendly, and he provided us with all the information we needed to get around as well as advice and introduction on how to get discounted rates around town. I was also quite moved when he gifted us a bottle of what I later learned is the best local wine in town on our wedding day.
Santorini is simply one of a kind. With whitewashed buildings against a turquoise sky and plenty of history and culture to explore, this is a place you just have to see for yourself. Find out why tourists flock here year after year and book your holiday rental in Santorini today.
Visitors may decide on staying the capital of Thira, or on beach resorts such as Perissa and Kamari. Beaches in this area are volcanic ash rather than sand, so appear darker in colour.
What to Do
Perissa is fairly similar, however is much newer than Kamari, having being built in the 1960s. This town is a great place to hang out during the early evenings. Surrounding the beach, you'll find bars, clubs and candle-lit restaurants.
Thira is also must-visit and its location sits upon the plot of the extinct volcano. Here, there's much more to explore culturally, including the likes of museums, galleries, churches and cathedrals.

Luxury 'Villa Olivia' Large Sun-terrace, Pools, Bar, Barbecue, Stunning View
Set in the lovely traditional Village of Megalochori the Villa was everything we hoped it would be.
Two separate accommodations in one Villa, lovely pool and amazing rooftop terrace with a barbeque bar and hot tub with an absolutely outstanding view.
We booked the Villa as our eldest daughter was getting married at the Dana's Villas and we certainly were not disappointed. The owner Michael or Manager Mark are only a phone call away if you have any queries.
The village has several restaurants and tavernas with differing price ranges our personal favourite was Mamitas were I had the best meal ever.
Looking forward to our return visit the only downside to the trip was the airport at Santorini utter chaos to get home no organization whatsoever, having said that it would not stop me from returning. …
Loukas&Emma Family Houses -Three bedroom apartment
Very Good Facility
Loukas & Emma Houses was great for our stay for our sons wedding,
Great little house. Bit disappointed no one there to meet us when we arrived in the evening and the number left on the office door did not work; we had to go through our emails to get a telephone number to use.
No breakfast although website information still has this included, so this needs to be updated …
Nereids Private Villas up to 15pax & Welcome Drink
Beautiful Villa in quaint Megalochori
We loved Nereides Private Villas which we shared with friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. It is ideal an ideal villa for more than one family sharing as it consists of 3 beautiful units with plenty of outdoor space and two hot tubs. If you prefer to avoid the masses but enjoy an authentic village and accommodation that makes you feel special, you will love Nereides Privates Villas. The view of Megalochori from the upper deck is breathtaking and we spent a few evenings up there barbecuing. There are plenty of beautiful beaches a short drive away. Yiota was amazing in helping arrange transfers, car rental and a wonder cruise.
Thank you for a memorable holiday.
The only constructive criticism I have, is that the kitchens are not very well equipped for self-catering. …
Native Eco - Luxury 4 Bedroom Villa With Stunning Ocean Views
Beautiful Views and Villa
Native Eco is such a beautiful villa. We stayed here in April and had such a wonderful time. The villa itself is beautiful but it is all about the views. They are simply incredible. We spent most of our time relaxing by the plunge pool while staring out at the vast ocean in the distance. Imerovigli is a great location. We walked to Fira most evenings for dinner and there are also some beautiful restaurants nearby for lunch. We were 3 couples and really loved our stay here. Can’t wait to return. …
