From the owner

Welcome to rural Calvados,France. It is beautiful and peaceful, making it a great place to relax and unwind with only the wildlife for distraction. Whilst the house is very rural we are only an hours drive from the beautiful coast lines and always within an hour of most tourist attractions in Normandy. There is a 16ft, 4ft deep above ground pool between June and September that keeps the kids occupied all day! Food can be arranged for your arrival, breakfast, lunch or a fridge full of supplies, so please contact us for extra details.

The house is very relaxed and fresh, it's bright and airy with plenty of room for friends, family and kids. We hunt locally for vintage items that we then restore so the house is a mix of vintage and modern.

There is a private driveway and plenty of parking. We live in the adjoining barn but your farmhouse enjoys it's own private, gated enclosed, garden. Your privacy is our priority so unless you need us you'll be left alone! Please enjoy the space and use it as your own. Let us know if there is anything specific you need.

Pool towels, baby gates, travel cot, high chair, toilet booster seats, night lights and Gro clock are all available for no additional charge.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Natalie (the owner) a message.

If Natalie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
