Bright and modern two-bedroom apartment with view on the rooftops of Ortigia, the oldest centre of Siracusa.

Our apartment, located on the second floor of a building in the oldest area of the Greek city of Siracusa, Ortigia, is a refined environment with large spaces. A few steps away from Teatro Comunale and close to the seaside, the location is perfect for experiencing the authentic lifestyle in the nearby restaurants and bars. The living area consists of a living room with a minimal design, provided with a TV, a coffee table around which an armchair and a double sofa bed have been placed. The independent kitchen is totally equipped, fitted with every comfort such as a dishwasher and a microwave, in addition to a practical dining table, well-lit thanks to the proximity to the balcony. The sleeping area is made of a room with single beds and a built-in bookcase, together with a lovely bedroom enriched by a canopy queen-sized bed and a divider behind in floral pattern, to create space for a practical desk with lamp, perfect for studying or working from home. From this room guests have access to a balcony overlooking the surrounding rooftops and with a partial view of the seaside. Furthermore, a full bathroom with corner shower and large mirror, plus another one without a bidet, completes the property, which also offers comforts such as free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating for a pleasant stay both during summer and winter.

For relax and sea lovers, Eastern Sicily and the surroundings of Siracusa are the perfect choice. Leaving the ancient Greek city and going toward the south, the best equipped beaches worth of a visit are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name is due to the natural sweet spring water and to the unique white sand. Then, In the island of Ortigia there are some equipped solarium (Zefiro and Nettuno), as well as the free beach of Cala Rossa. Going further south, about 30 kms far away from Siracusa, there are amazing and wild beaches: Calamosche, Vendicari with its Wildlife Park and the precious San Lorenzo. For those looking for cultural and historical sites, we recommend to visit Teatro Greco and its archeological site with the famous Orecchio di Dionisio (a limestone cave shaped as a human ear), the Museum Paolo Orsi, then the Latomie dei Cappuccini, and finally the island of Ortigia with its natural and historic eye-catching landscapes. Finally, our guests should visit the town of Noto, the seafront of Tonnara di Avola and the fisherman village of Marzamemi. Sicily is beautiful, a wild land with a millennial history impossible to forget at first glance, that will take a special space in your heart.

The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about 60 kms far away, while “Comiso Pio la Torre” airport is 110 kms far. The train station of Siracusa is 1 km far from Ortigia, as well as the interbus station connected with the airports.
