A light and sunny apartment situated on the upper ground floor of Osborne House, a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian house. The apartment has views of the Pier and Downs and is less than 100 metres from the seafront and old stone quay. It is ideally placed for lazing on Swanage's award-winning sandy beach or taking invigorating walks along the Jurassic coast.

The accommodation comprises 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), bathroom with shower over bath, kitchen with gas hob and electric oven, fridge with ice box, microwave and washing machine, sitting room with TV, DVD, CD/radio and a selection of books, DVDs and CDs. It is comfortably furnished with seating for four, a dining table to seat four, and a huge bay window from which to enjoy the views. The rooms are light and airy with high ceilings and tall windows. The apartment also benefits from a communal garden at the rear of the property, and one allocated parking space.

NB: There are steps up to the front door of Osborne House, and so the apartment is not ideally suited to those who have difficulty with stairs or for very young children.

Swanage is a great holiday destination with its bustling town, beautiful sandy beach and wonderful scenery. Attractions include its world famous Jurassic coastline giving walks to Old Harry Rocks and Durlston Castle, the delightful Swanage Railway, regular folk, jazz and blues music weekends, and not forgetting the Carnival & Regatta week in August.Being a seaside town, Swanage has got plenty of trinket shops, and there are two supermarkets. There is a huge choice of cafes and restaurants, and you can browse the menus in the windows.Swanage bay has over a mile of sandy beach (complete with a Punch & Judy show in the summer months). The Steam Train runs to and from Norden, just beyond the picturesque village of Corfe. There are boat trips to Old Harry Rocks, and to Bournemouth and Poole. The open top buses will take you to Bournemouth via the Sandbanks ferry. Other activities include fossil-hunting on the cliffs, walking over Ballard Down and along the South West coast path. There is a Tourist Office on the seafront.Swanage is a musical mecca and during the year it hosts blues, jazz and folk festivals. The Carnival & Regatta week at the beginning of August will delight everyone, young and old, and wonderful firework displays are held on Saturdays throughout August.
