Only five minutes from a Blue Flag beach in beautiful Swanage, this Grade II listed cottage is full of character with a farmhouse kitchen complete with Aga, sitting room with a woodburning stove, an outside sundeck and BBQ.

On three floors, the cottage sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms (one double with shower room, one twin room and one room with a children's single bed and full size bunkbeds) and family bathroom and separate WC. Downstairs, the sitting room leads onto the kitchen, utility room and then onto the sundeck and down to the private garden.

Ideal for families and people of all ages keen to explore the Jurassic coastline but please note that the stairs to the double room at the top of the cottage are steep and may be difficult for those with mobility problems.

Swanage is a Victorian seaside town with Blue flag beaches, independent shops, pubs and galleries and a steam train direct to Corfe Castle. Ideally located to access the wonders of the Jurassic coast, great walks, scuba diving, sea kayaking, sailing and kite surfing, golf are all available close by. For the less energetic, other attractions include Studland Bay, Brownsea Island, Monkeyworld, the Tank Museum, Lulworth Cove and Castle and the lost village of Tyneham, as well as the National Trust gem of Kingston Lacy.

Why can't I call Ellie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ellie (the owner) a message.

If Ellie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
