“Clean, all utilities, quiet.”

Reviewed 9 Nov 2016

Stayed here for a week during the summer. Greeted by Liz the owner - friendly and very helpful. All utilities - two showers, bath, fully equipped kitchen, TV, wifi, etc Quiet, away from any road but only a couple of miles from A9 and so easily accessible. Great views but marred by electricity pylons. Red deer, buzzards, spotted flycatchers. curlew etc spotted from cottage window. I cannot recommend it too highly for people who like the countryside. Only (possible) downside is that the nearest pub is several miles away! If visiting and using a satnav then ask Liz for the correct one or you could end up half a mile away (but you can still see th ecottage)

Many thanks for your kind review. We are fortunate to live in a lovely area. There are plans to resite the pylons in the future so the view will be even better. Look forward to meeting you again next year. Best wishes Liz

“Perfect isolation”

Reviewed 30 Sep 2016

Well equipped for a group and comfortable rooms. Although well off the beaten track, the drive gives you perfect peace and quiet.

Thank you for your kind words. We are indeed fortunate to live in perfect isolation but so near to Inverness and many other attractions in the Highlands.
