Here you will find a unique opportunity for the individual or family who care about their 'ecological footprint' but wish to enjoy the full wonder of Poland's expansive, unspoiled nature, glorious mediaeval architecture, warm hearted citizens and superb farmhouse foods!

Located in the heart of the hilly region of Lesser Poland (Malopolska), 40km from Krakow and 100km from Zakopane, Potoczek gives you a chance to spend a quiet holiday in the Beskid Mountains far from the crowds and urban bussle, or to visit Krakow - one of Poland's most beautiful cities. You might fancy a trip to Zakopane, Poland's "winter capital" at the foot of the Tatra Mountains. From your Potoczek base you are well placed for all these pleasures and on any day you can combine resting in the countryside with sightseeing and hiking.

Just at the end of your south facing garden you will find ICPPC Ecocentre, one of the first fully integrated small scale ecological demonstration sites in Poland. Here you can learn about clay-straw building, organic gardening, renewable energy for the home, grey water systems and much more - and you can even book-in for a course and learn about the challenge of self sufficiency from a local Polish farmer.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Krzysztof (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
