The house is located in via Grazia Deledda, 14, very close to the historic center of Santa Teresa Gallura, where there is the beautiful beach "La RENA BIANCA" (white fine sand with crystalline sea water which is mentioned among the most beautiful beaches of Italy). All services are available and are distant from 5 to 10 minutes (on foot) The house consists of two floors and is set in a context of villas in the open in a very quiet area. The apartment is on the first floor and is accessed by an external staircase, from the entrance that opens onto the living room you enter a Middle Eastern setting, with tapestries, prints, paintings and casts of Mesopotamian archaeological finds, where silent cocks and hens of painted metal, they seem to be at ease. In the large ceiling with large chestnut beams there seem to be other evidence of the most recent history of our fathers, with a piece of an old Sicilian decorated cart, a still working ceiling fan of the Westinghouse Electric Company of the 1925s with wooden shovels. A staircase reminiscent of those in which children played, leads to the mezzanine (mezzanine here the ceiling is sloping is the lower part has a height of 120 cm and the upper part has a height of 160 cm) where is a double bed, while from a window between the roofs you can enjoy the view of the hills in front, where the singing of seagulls is the master. The two double rooms overlooking the quiet and green via Grazia Deledda, where the sun rises, are served by a long outdoor balcony between the neighboring trees. The first double bedroom (MARTINO) has a wonderful Flou Nathalie bed (by Vico Magistretti), with a fresh atmosphere full of memories of a traveler, as well as the second double bedroom (PAOLO) also full of memories. In the last double bedroom (GRAZIA) white and bright with large windows, the view is on the silent and green courtyard, with the high beds up to the sill, where it seems to be suspended in the air, while the recent history is remembered by advertising of metal plates and painted mirrors. The house is very windy and cool, but sometimes even the fans suspended on the ceilings participate in the race for those who blow more. My home tells in an amusing way what I have done by traveling around the world, and I tell it to you that you will be my guests: thanks to those who want to come here to me in Sardinia to Santa Teresa Gallura. The house, masked by trees, welcomes you with its exposed wooden ceilings, comfortable alcoves for eight people, paintings, prints and hanging hangings of a Middle Eastern world. Casts of archaeological finds that represent the cradle of civilization rest on a transparent window and in the silence you hear the marine taste and the singing of seagulls in the air.
