From the owner

The apartment Il Borgo Antico is located on the first floor of an historic building from the 14th century. The building is located in one of the main squares of the town, Piazza delle Erbe. The windows of the apartment overlook the square, the Twin Towers and the Cathedral of San Gimignano.

The apartment (75 square meters) has been carefully restored combining its original flavor with modern comforts. It features terracotta roof tiles, big windows with Tuscan shutters and decorative ceilings with wood beams.

The apartment is composed of a double bedroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a spacious living room, a well equipped kitchen with electric oven, kettle, coffee maker etc... and a toilet with shower. The apartment is equipped with mosquito nets, heating, air-conditioning, TV, washing-machine and free Wi-Fi connection.

The apartment has also a balcony overlooking the Tuscan hills, in common with the apartment La Torretta. It can accommodate up to 4 people. Children under 2 years stay free of charge.

I am Benedetta and with my family we manage 2 apartments in town and a bed and breakfast located 500 meters outside the historical centre of San Gimignano. All our accomodations are family properties that we have restored with the aim of welcoming guests in our Town. We will meet for the check-in, available from 2:30 to 6 pm. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Benedetta (the owner) a message.

If Benedetta (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
