Nestling at the foot of the Malvern Hills, Malvern Theatres is a major centre for the arts in the West Midlands. Home of the famous Malvern Festivals. Malvern Theatres boasts one of the most diverse selection of plays, music, comedy, dance, film and education work to be found under a single roof anywhere in the country.
Ledbury which is also very close to us is one of England's text book market towns, full of prime examples of timber-framed buildings. The 17th century black & white Market House, as well as cobbled streets full of privately owned boutiques and a few of the major high street names.
Cradley is one of the oldest and largest villages within Worcestershire and Herefordshire, it features a village of beautiful black and white cottages and a church which dates back to domesday. The village has a small shop locally and a large pub and restaurant on the main road in. There are plenty of interesting walks within the area which can be downloaded from our web site.
Locally within the village is "Blue Ginger" which has become a showcase for many talented local artists and craftspeople as well as some of the best of British talent and carefully sourced fairly traded crafts from far away. The gallery, located in the grounds of a C15th timber framed Herefordshire farmhouse, has a diversity of quality goods on display. Within the main gallery there is also a coffee shop serving light lunches, delicious home-made cakes, and fair-trade tea and coffee.
