The Canary Islands region
Tenerife has a climate that can't be matched anywhere in the world for its benign nature.
The warmest weather is found on the south and west of the island, while the east is generally windier and the north wetter. Also, what cannot be denied, is that Tenerife has the lowest temperature difference between summer and winter of anywhere in the world, with averages of around 15C in winter and 28C in summer.
Tenerife owes its good fortune to its convenient location just north of the Tropic of Cancer - making the climate sub-tropical - and the unusual typography of steep-sided mountains rising to its crowning glory, Mount Teide
Tenerife boasts a wonderful climate where the temperatures rarely drop from 22-24ºC in the winter. Ideal for a winter sun break from the recent harsh weather in Europe.
There is plenty to do and visit on the island, from a trip to the volcano Mount Teide to the famous Loro Park in Puerto de la Cruz.
Los Gigantes is definitely Tenerife´s best kept secret, full of charm, surrounded by magnificent views, ideal for a relaxing holiday in paradise, with probably the best climate on the sub tropical island with a great variety of quality restaurants, including the harbour where an excellent range of fresh seafood and fish is on offer daily.
There are some lovely black sandy beaches in the area and water sports for the more active include, diving, snorkelling, fishing, sailing, boat trips, dolphin cruising or whale watching...

"Great terrace, great views, lovely relaxing property"
Stayed here for a week in April. Property is clean and well-kept and comes with Wi-Fi and a fantastic large sun-terrace, complete with sun shade, table and chairs and two sun loungers. Views to the cliffs at Los Gigantes are fantastic....perfect for sitting looking out on with a glass of wine as the sun goes down. The property itself is just out of the town centre, up a quiet residential street, which means that parking was not a problem for us when we visited. All amenities we needed seemed to be present in the apartment, although to be honest we ate out quite a lot so can't really comment! Organisation through Lesley was very easy, with regular updates as to next steps, etc. The pool was being renovated in the building at the time we went, so Lesley contacted us in advance to let us know and provide an access code for the pool in the apartment next door. All in all, would recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, convenient place to stay.

This apartment is one of several owned by a UK property Company and operated for holiday lets. Subsequently, its decor is modern, light and neutral. You certainly don’t feel that you’re sitting in someone else’s apartment. All arrangements for payment and access etc. could not have been easier. Email and telephone contact was with Lesley and we also found Francisco, the on-site caretaker, extremely helpful. The best bits – The large sun terrace with its wonderful views of the mountains, sea and harbour. There are two sun beds and a patio table with six chairs. Also a large wind-out sun canopy. The other bits – All pretty average really. The small swimming pool was nothing special, but somewhere to cool off. In the lounge there is an ipod player and also free WiFi access. The worst bits – The beds are of very poor quality. There are two single beds pushed together. The type that one might buy to put up friends for the weekend. Whilst there is a TV in the apartment, there is no satellite connection, so no access to English news channels. There is no built in air conditioning, but a mobile unit. It does sound a bit like a tractor, but you do get used to it after a few days. Los Gigantes – A quiet harbour town with a handful of restaurants and bars providing live music. Tends to go quiet after midnight. Ideal for the over fifties, but not much to do for the younger generation. There are several supermarkets within five minutes walking distance of the apartment. Access to the apartment – Ten minutes walk from the harbour to the apartment. This is up a bit of a hill, but unless you have specific problems walking, it should not cause much of a problem to the average guest. Transfers – You can pick up a taxi from the airport for 50 euros and the local taxi company will collect you from the apartment for your return journey. Verdict – Although I have highlighted one or two negatives, I would return to this apartment simply for the sun terrace and views. Tip – The apartment is on Calle El Pino, which you can check out on google earth and street view. You can also take a virtual tour of the bars and restaurants.

"Peaceful holiday in a beautiful location for a less demanding."
The apartment we stayed from 15 December 2012 to 5 January 2013. Tenerife very well known and we choos the apartment because of its location, which we definitely did not disappoint, it is a beautiful and peaceful place. The apartment was reasonably sized for two people with a large and beautiful terrace, clean and fully equipped. We were upset that there is no housekeeping or linen, also a day in the morning often flowed water for more than an hour, and the apartment was not available password to connect to the internet, which was inconveniently placed light line in the bedroom of our apartment for an entire floor (or house ?). I would recommend it for a relaxing holiday and exploring the island by car, with small children I would have picked a different place.

"Feels like home"
This is a kind of appartment where you will find everything you need, you will feel like home. Looks like owners did it in a way they see their own vacation - with nice music and candels enjoying Los Gigantes, marina and Gomera island from terrace. Bring your iPhone or iPod with you - you will be able to enjoy your music here as MC allows to connect those devices. Take your own belowed CD and DVD - and you will continue enjoy your music and video here, both players are at your fingertips. Amazing view from terrace, location is really ok, quite and still close to center of the village where you will find shops, restraunts, cafes and good choice of excurtions to different places around. We saw whales in the open ocean - something really amazing, they were with their babies! Island is small so everything is in a easy reach - we recommend El Teide, where you will find a lot of routes for trekking of different level. We had really great week here!

"A good quality apartment with stunning views"
Just returned from two weeks at the apartment. Very well appointed and spotlessly clean on arrival. The huge sun terrace overlooking the harbour and the cliffs of Los Gigantes made the holiday and had sun until sunset. The owner was always contactable if needed for any problems that could arise. The communal pool probably let the apartments down, rather tired and in a courtyard with no view to speak of. We used the pool to cool down and then headed straight back to he fabulous terrace to continue with the sunbathing! We hired a car for the whole holiday and parking was no problem outside the apartments. We definitely will be going back!
