Description

This is a traditional 2 bedroomed cottage with oak beams, log fire, private garden and sea views from the first floor.

However it is really only ideal for couples and families. The main bathroom is situation off the main bedroom and so guests in the second bedroom need to walk through the main bedroom to access this. There is a separate cloakroom downstairs.

On the doorstep is a beach, 2 pub, shops, post office and the beginning of beautiful coastal walks on the Roseland Peninsula. Within a short drive further lovely beaches with safe swimming, sailing, windsurfing and canoeing and further stunning walks and places of interest to visit. Ideal for all ages. The famous Hidden Hut at Porthkerick Beach only a short walk along the coastal path.

Beds can be made up at an additional cost. Dogs by prior permission of the owner. We do not let for less than three nights in the winter season and for seven nights or multiples of seven during spring, summer and autumn.

26A The Lugger is a comfortable and well equipped cottage furnished by the owners as a home from home, now with wifi. On the gound floor is a sitting room with open fire, dining room, kitchen, downstairs cloakroom with WC & basin, and french windows lead off the sitting room into the garden. On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, both with sea views, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. The bathroom has a bath, shower and WC.

The main bathroom upstairs is situated off the main bedroom and so guests staying in the second bedroom need to walk through the main bedroom to access this. There is a separate cloakroom downstairs. However in the circumstances the cottage is best suited for couples or for a family rather than two separate couples.

Getting around

Most people come to Portscatho by car, park up and don’t use their cars again. There is plenty to keep you occupied....wonderful walks from the cottage door, beaches, water activities, a village pub and another in Gerrans up the hill. There is a village shop and butchers. It is only a few miles to drive to St Austell and also easy to get to other places in Cornwall.

House rules

The second bedroom with twin beds is suitable for children. They will however need to come through the main bedroom to access the upstairs bathroom.
There is also a separate cloakroom downstairs.
Please advise if bringing a dog.
Please ensure dogs do not come upstairs nor sit on the furniture. There are walks on the coastal path from the door which makes the cottage suitable for dogs.

Portscatho is a wonderful location, good food, lovely people, Sailing Walking Beach time, relaxing. the cottage is just what we hope for, the garden is sun trap, all amenities in a quiet location but only 5mins from village centre will come again

How do damage deposits work?
