The Studio Apartment is superbly located just 100 metres from the high tide mark of a sheltered bay and are all perfect for a relaxing holiday.
It is finished to a very high specification and has been thoughtfully designed to provide boutique self-catering of a high standard although offered at an affordable price. The vaulted ceiling and open layout, under floor heating, attention to detail and stunning loch views offer a unique opportunity for a tranquil holiday for 1 or 2 people and would make an idyllic honeymoon destination. There is no extra charge for heating, bed linen and towels. The kitchen, fitted with quality units and real wood worktop, is well equipped with crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment and utensils . The walls and the flooring have ceramic and sandstone tiles respectively. The view from the kitchen window makes washing up a pleasure rather than a chore! There is a supply of eco cleaning products. For dining, there is a table and chairs situated along-side the kitchen.
The lounge area is a relaxing, welcoming space furnished with 2 very comfortable leather swivel chairs carefully positioned to make full use of the large picture window giving an expansive view over Loch Snizort Beag to the Outer Hebrides in the far distance. A variety of lighting options is provided.
To offer every chance of a good sleep at the end of the day, a King sized bed with superior mattress and quality bedding await guests. A fitted wardrobe with drawers to ensure plentiful clothes storage, bedside cabinets and wall-fitted reading lamps complete the restful effect.
The shower room with porcelain tiled floor and walls is spacious and particularly striking. It has stylish fittings including a walk-in shower unit with large rainfall-type shower head . Good lighting, large mirror, shaving point and quality towels compliment the elegant look.There is a private seating area in front of the studio looking towards the the loch.
It is suitable for disabled visitors but not wheelchair users who are unable to use a standard shower and toilet.
The bay is home to otters, seals and a variety of seabirds. You can even harvest mussels, cockles and whelks at low tide while exploring the easily accessed pebble and black sand shoreline. Golden and Sea Eagles can be spotted overhead.
A profusion of Orchids and Primroses and an abundance of other wild flowers can be found on the headland and on the surrounding croft land.

Fishing can be enjoyed from the headland of our bay, the River Skeabost, various inland lochs and numerous other points around the Island. Fishing trips as well as wild life cruises are available from piers around the island.
Horse Riding and Trekking is on offer within walking distance from Knott .
Golf can be played at the Skeabost and Sconser.
Sea Kayaking, Canoeing, Windsurfing and Archery (with tuition when needed)
Paleontology and Geology: The Isle of Skye is an excellent natural laboratory for observing geological matters and fossils. Skye being one of the richest locations for dinosaurs and fossils in the UK.
For those with an interest in history, Dunvegan Castle with its glorious gardens, St Columba's Isle at the head of the River Snizort , the legend of Bonnie Prince Charlie are among the items of interest.
