Parrot House is located in Platanias region, in a 5 min drive from the coast, as well as the touristic center of Platanias village where you can find everything you want . The airport of Chania is just 32km away and you only need 100m from the moment you exit the national road to reach the house. You can find a mini market in 100m, a bakery in 250m, a Lidl super market in 1km away.
Beautiful city of Chania and the charming Old Town is only 16 km or 15 min away. Famous sandy beaches of western Crete are also easily accessed due to the house location.
The House.
Parrot House feels exotic and peaceful from the first sight of it. Big palm and other exotic trees on a big green yard. Likewise the view from the house and the back yard rests your eyes away.
Inside the house you can find a fine material kitchen fully equipped and functional. On the kitchen island welcome treats of fresh eggs and fruit as well as other local delicacy awaits you. We are able to provide you fresh eggs and fruits daily and if you wish we'll be glad to cook for you. You can read bellow an endless list of exotic and local trees you can find in our home and our neighbor’s field and fruits you can try in daily base.*
In the living room you can enjoy the excellent day and night view, you may use the big TV screen or the P.C. for business or pleasure (free Wi-Fi) and of course you can't miss our colorful friends, Macaw and Toucan.
Dining table for 6 is right next to the kitchen.
The house has three bedrooms.
Bedroom one:
Queen size bed covered with finest satin sheet, en-suite bathroom with bathtub and large windows with excellent view in both rooms.
Bedroom two:
Double bed covered with finest satin sheet, en-suite bathroom with cabin rain shower.
Bedroom three:
Small double bed, en-suite bathroom with cabin rain shower. It is located in semi-basement floor.
Parrot House sleeps up to 6 persons as standard, but can accommodate up to 7 people. This is arranged by putting one additional single bed into bedroom three.
At the backyard you can enjoy an astonishing view of the night sky in totally privacy having your dinner cooked on the barbeque, relax reading or sunbathing. Most of the yard furniture are handmade with much care and patience.
