Hebden Bridge is a small market town in the heart of West Yorkshire, South Pennines. Hebden Bridge is a small market town in the heart of West Yorkshire, South Pennines. It is home to a wide range of pubs and coffee houses (it even has it's own cafe for dogs in The Lampost!) and prides itself on being everything local. You won't find your regular high street shops, instead you have a selection of independent retailers selling a huge range of produce and products. It boasts no less than 30 festivals a year including the Vintage Vehicles Weekend, Arts Festival, South Pennines Walk and Ride Festival (which incorporates the 'The Up the Buttress' hill climb - not for the fainthearted!) and the slightly controversial Burlesque Festival.

Haworth is a tourist destination known for it's association with the Bronte Sisters and the heritage preserved railway, Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. The Bronte Way, a 69km walker route, passes through Haworth and places where the writings of the Bronte sisters are said to be centred such as Top Withins (Wuthering Heights). A good range of coffee houses, pubs and independent retailers operate along the steep cobbled streets of Haworth.

Pecket Well

For anyone wanting to explore the area by foot or by bike there are options galore. The Pennine Way and the Calderdale Way are only minutes away and the off-road cycle route The Pennine Way Mary Townley Loop can be joined in Hebden Bridge. The property is situated besides the Tour de France and Tour de Yorkshire routes, the long decent down from Cock Hill, Oxenhope.
