Elegant Historic Villa/Splendid Private Garden with Lovely Views

Delightful Townhouse of 200 sq.m., spacious and full of light,with fantastic private garden looking deep into the beautiful rolling countryside in the historical medieval centre of Panicale.

The Townhouse' is an ancient yet welcoming environment for tourists wanting to get to know Umbria and Tuscany through the beautiful natural scenery, offering as well a deeper insight into Renaissance Italy.

This is a very romantic Dream Townhouse, accommodating up to 6 + 2 people, nestled against the Etruscan walls surrounding the ancient town, dating from the second century BC, only a few steps from the central piazza. All amenities - bars, restaurants, bakery, supermarkets with fresh delicious local products, newspapers and gifts, the historic theatre, churches and museums are moments away. Free parking is only 2 minutes walking distance from the house.

Furnished in Umbrian/Tuscan style with care and attention to detail, old restored doors, arches, niches, some frescoes and original beamed ceilings, and with lovely views from all the windows.Each object has been carefully restored by local artisans such as blacksmiths, joiners, & tile makers. The house has been restored to high standard maintaining original characteristics, vaulted arches, niches, frescos, mosaics and original stone staircase, offering the comfort of a house where one feels at home amidst the owners' large and varied art collection.

The fully-equipped kitchen is ready for you to produce anything that you fancy. Dining al fresco with friends or family on the beautiful private garden surrounded by a spectacular view, drinking a glass of fine local wine, eating the delicious local foods, a glowing warm sunset before you - What more could one wish for?

We hope that fond memories of the stay will be yours for a long time. It will be an unforgettable stay.

*Ground floor: Main entrance hall with an Internal stone staircase to the first floor.

*First floor: Fully-equipped kitchen/dining room with table, chairs, refrigerator, electric oven, dishwasher. Direct access to the garden and the open patio outside.

Living room with sofas, table, lamps and Internet broadband fast connection and satellite tv. Direct access to the private garden equipped with table and chairs to eat all together under the pergola.

1 double bedroom with en-suite full bathroom with shower + 1 twin bedroom ( x 2 persons) with an en-suite bathroom with shower.

Learn a few secrets of Umbrian and Tuscan cuisine, using local produce, including her own fruity, estate-bottled olive oil from her home near Castiglione del Lago, and enjoy a fabulous meal and an unforgettable experience.

The Villa is locally managed by our Host, Katia Mughetti who speaks English and does a wonderful job in making our guests feel special. She is an excellent source of information and is also available to book car rentals, winery tours, train tickets, museum tickets etc. Feel free to contact her directly, you'll find an italian friend and a special village!!!
