Location description from owner

The Ross and Cromarty region

Despite the erection of the Kessock Bridge in 1982, North Kessock has retained its own special unique charm and character. It remains an idyllic spot and is wonderfully close to Inverness because of the bridge. There is a great local hotel/pub which serves really good food. The local gift shop, post office, spar and monthly local market provide many tempting offers. The locals are also lovely and friendly. Many have a great ability to tell really interesting stories about the history of the village and its people.

North Kessock

Air: Inverness Airport is only a short distance away and scheduled flights operate between Inverness and London Gatwick, London Luton, Amsterdam, Belfast City, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester, Stornoway in the Western Isles, Kirkwall in Orkney and Sumburgh in Shetland, plus seasonal flights to Geneva. We are delighted that British Airways are returning to Inverness with flights to Heathrow from May 2016.

Rail: Inverness Railway Station is only 6km away and services run to Perth, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Aberdeen, Thurso, Wick and Kyle of Lochalash. The city is also connected to London by the Caledonian Sleeper.

Bus: There is a regular bus service from the old pier to the city centre. You can also catch other buses heading North and South from the boys stops at either side of t he Kessock Bridge. Buses from Inverness Bus Station run to destinations further afield in Scotland and England.
