The Property

This beautiful rural villa has been tastefully decorated to accommodate up to 5 persons (and an infant in a cot.)

Villa Tigot is set in outskirts of the tranquil village of Mozaga just in the middle of the island of Lanzarote. This makes it extremely accessible whether you want to have a swim in the ocean or visit the Timanfaya volcanoes, in Mozaga you are already halfway there. This large rural villa is equipped with a swimming pool and has built in steps for easy access. Not to mention the splendid pool deck with amazing mountain views, equipped with deckchairs. A true traditional Villa indeed!

The heart of the Villa is its bright and spacious living room, perfect for a lazy afternoon. This comfortable space has direct access to the terrace and plenty of sitting space for all the family, perfect to relax and entertain. The living room is equipped with Satellite TV, free WIFI connection and a speaker with USB connection.

The kitchen, just next door, is fully equipped with hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and a walk in pantry where you will find all the pots, pans and crockery you may need. The Villa also has an outside wood burning oven, simply perfect for a Wine & Pizza night with all the family.

Villa Tigot has 3 bedrooms. The master suite has a large double bed with a fitted wardrobe and direct access to the terrace. Here we have prepared a chill out or work area for anyone needing to catch up on some work or even to indulge in your favorite paper back while the rest of the family is by the pool. There is one more double bedroom and a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobe. All three bedrooms share a large family bathroom with double sinks, bidet, corner bathtub and hairdryer.

The terrace and pool deck are the gem of the property due to the 180o of breathtaking mountain views. The terrace has a large wooden dining table with seating for 8 persons and a small stairs that lead to the pool deck. This area has its own kitchen with gas hob and kitchen utensils to cook your favourite meals, bathroom with shower, traditional wood burning oven and a great chill out area with deckchairs.

There is also a washroom with washing machine and cleaning items in the back of the property.

Location

The villa is perfectly located in the middle of Lanzarote, providing quick access to the whole island. This means that you will never be far away from anywhere. It is located just a10 minute drive from the airport, 20 minutes to the National Park of Timanfaya and 30 mins drive to the attractions in the north of the island such as Cueva de Los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.

The closest town San Bartolome, though small, has all the amenities one may require. Supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shops, banks and pharmacy. These are located just a 5 minute drive away from the villa into the centre of the town of San Bartolome. Therefore, if cooking is not on your plan for the night, just pop into town. There you are sure to find a nice meal that tickles your tastebuds.

The location of this pretty town ensures that you are always close to everywhere, whether you plan to visit the Timanfaya Volcanoes or Papagayo Beaches in the south or the Jameos del Agua or Caleton Blanco in the north of the island. The great location of this villa also enables trekking or cycling enthusiast to have many of the required amenities, such as bike rental / sports shops and even repair shops in close proximity.

For those who prefer to explore on foot, numerous walking / trekking routes pass through this village. Should you wish to explore the island by bicycle this is the perfect base, just a10 minute ride from the famous wine region of La Geria and Lanzarote’s prettiest cycling route as well as other cycling routes that lead to anywhere on the island such as Caleta de Famara, La Santa and many more.

Muchas gracias por su reseña. Agradecemos sus comentarios y esperamos que a pesar de todo esto hayan tenido una buena estancia. De nuestra parte sentimos que hemos intentado todo lo posible para que estén a gusto en la casa y hemos estado en contacto durante toda su estancia y en todo momento nos han dicho que estaba todo bien y estaban disfrutando mucho. Tomo la oportunidad de responder sus comentarios. Me gustaría recordarles que aceptamos el perro cuando nunca aceptamos perros, hemos dejado que vengan más personas de lo capacidad habitual sin coste adicional, cuna y trona gratis, y vinimos a cambiarles el colchón del bebe porque no estaban cómodos con el que tenía y por si fuera poco también le dimos salida tardía gratis. Todo para asegurar que se sienten en casa. La casa es una casa terrera, la humedad es normal. Eso sí, hemos visto que después de su salida había 2 habitaciones, el baño y la cocina que estaban muy húmedas por la falta de ventilación ya que las persianas habían sido cerradas durante su estancia. Tuvimos que tratar y volver a pintar estas zonas (una cosa que no le hemos cobrado en el depósito). Las puertas están bien pero cuando la casa no se ventila la madera se hincha un poco. Las hamacas; de 6 solo hay 3 que estaban un poco oxidadas pero NO rotas, lo cual, tuvimos que cobrar del depósito. Le recuerdo que no hemos cobrado la totalidad de la hamaca nueva. Del depósito de 300€ cobramos solo 100€ para compartir en la hamaca y la suciedad excesiva cómo está muy claro en los términos. La limpieza de la casa ha sido casi el doble de lo normal. Es entendible que la fianza no se puede devolver a la salida en efectivo - es imposible revisar una villa grande con prisa. Cuando alquila un coche por ejemplo también lo tienen que revisar y le devuelve el depósito después. Finalmente, sentimos mucho este sentimiento que tienen sobre nosotros, a veces pasa que aunque intentamos hacer nuestro trabajo lo mejor que podamos no logramos contentar a todo el mundo. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
