With breathtaking panoramic views, La Ferme enjoys the tranquillity and seclusion of a mountain retreat whilst being situated 10 minutes drive from the vast Portes du Soleil Region, renowned for its skiing in the winter and mountain biking and walking in the summer.

This traditional farmhouse has been completely refurbished in 2021 to top end luxury standards. Every furnishing and finish has been chosen with the utmost care and no expense has been spared for your convenience and enjoyment.

The chalet sleeps 10 people, featuring 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a games room with bar and pool table, a mezzanine TV room with double sofa bed and a vast top floor living area with high ceilings, exposed beams, floor to ceiling windows to take in the exquisite views and a large open fire with comfy sofas for cosy nights in after a hard days skiing. The large dining table can seat 12 should you wish to entertain guests.

For summer sun, the chalet boasts one of the nicest terraces in the Morzine area, fully equipped with a hot tub, sofa, fire pit, BBQ and large dining table for outdoor living.

Guidance can be provided for catering and chauffeur services if required.

Top Floor

The upper floor is home to the main living accommodation. It includes a large comfortable lounge with high ceiling beams, open fire and two large corner sofas with reclining chairs to soak up the floor to ceiling view of the mountains across the valley. The beautiful marble table with stylish velvet seats sits 12 guests easily and there is a desk for those who are compelled to bring work on holiday.

The newly equipped kitchen has a double oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge and larder.

A Mezzanine room with modern glass balcony contrasts beautifully with the traditional wooden beamed ceiling and provides a children’s playroom with an expansive TV along one wall and a large corner sofa which can be transformed into a double bed for two extra guests if needed.

Middle Floor

The middle floor is the sleeping quarters. This comprises two large master bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom equipped with power shower, large bath, underfloor heating and magnified shaving mirror.

There are a further 2 bedrooms with two single beds which can be made up as double beds if required. These bedrooms share the main shower room.

Every bedroom has fur throws and cushions, with luxury rugs to provide ultimate comfort and style.

Lower Floor

The front door leads into the luxury ski room with cowhide benches to fall into to release those tight boots at the end of the day, boot warmers for 12 sets of boots and gloves, a ski cupboard and coat cupboard.

Then enter the large bar area with a full size pool table and a bar and have apres ski evenings playing pool or sipping luxury cocktails. Large patio doors open onto the terrace.

There is also a WC and laundry room on this floor.

The Great Outdoors.

Patio doors open onto one of the nicest terraces you will find in the Morzine Valley. South facing with breathtaking panoramic views across the valley, it provides total tranquillity with full sun from dawn to dusk. Sit on the sofas or sun loungers and soak up the sun, watch the eagles circling or relax in the hot tub with a bottle of champagne, before enjoying an alfresco BBQ supper around the large, candle lit, dining table. Light the firepit, watch the sunset and while away the evening. If you stay up to the wee hours you may be lucky enough to see the deer or a family of wild boar that regularly come down from the mountain.

The sloping meadow that stretches out in front of the chalet is perfect for sledging for those energetic children who are still full of energy after a day’s skiing. 4 large sledges provided.

The chalet has parking for four cars.

Snow chains are occasionally required after heavy snowfalls.

Location

The chalet is an hour and 20 minutes from Geneva and at the heart of the Portes Du Soleil Ski and Mountain Bike region. For skiing there are 13 resorts with 214 lifts covering 650km and whilst it is not the highest area it boasts one of the bet snow records in Europe. For mountain biking Portes Du Soleil is the largest cross border MTB area in Europe with 25 mountain lifts and 5 bike parks and host to the MTB World Championships. For walkers there are multiple walks from the doorstep including the climb up to the top of the imposing Mont D’Evian that forms the backdrop for the chalet.

The chalet offers access to ski areas to suit all levels, with St Jean D’Aulp 5 minutes across the valley; ideal for beginners, Super Morzine and Pleney lifts 10 minutes away to access Morzine and Les Gets; ideal for all ski levels and Ardent lift to Linderets and Avoriaz, also 10 minutes away; for advanced skiers, extra height for the best snow and access to Chatel in Switzerland.
