Description

Studio Apartment with very comfortable convertible queen bed (160) and 2 single beds bunk style. Recently renovated with stone feature wall and central under floor heating. Located in the Mountains above Lake Annecy at 1000 metres above sea level in a quiet valley only 30 mins (20km) from Annecy, 15 minutes to the Lake.

Large sunny terrace (35m2) facing south with outdoor furniture including sun beds and barbecue.

Fully equipped modern kitchen with all modern amenities including oven, induction cook top, microwave, coffee plunger, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, raclette machine, pierrade etc.

At your disposal, TV/DVD player, Wifi internet connection, stereo CD/Radio player, telephone, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, fully equipped kitchen.

Fabulous views over the mountains. Local High Mountain Guide in the village offering canyoning, abseiling, monte medio, rock climbing and ski hiking and a local parasailing school. Nearby golf courses in Giez and Talloires, Adventure Forest and many other sporting activities.

The Col de la Forclaz only 5km away, famous for parasailing and having spectacular views over Lake Annecy. There are four restaurants in the village of Montmin, the Pricaz and the Edelweiss with dominating views of the Lake and The Ferme and The Chamoix offering typical local savoyard meals.

The property is located in a dead end street, so no through traffic. The nearest village for shopping for groceries is Faverges (12 km/ 15 min drive) where the markets are held every Wednesday morning. Thones markets are held every Saturday morning. Thones is the entrance to the Col des Aravis.

Geneva Airport is a little over 1 hour away and Lyon airport 2 hours. The only access is by car and be sure to have chains in the winter. If travelling by train the nearest station would be Annecy and then you would need to hire a car. Precise details on accessing the property will be given upon rental.

“Beautiful and enjoyable place”

The flat is situated in a very nice and calm mountain village, is perfectly equipped and very nicely done up. A large terrace with a gorgeous view on the mountains is the highlight of the flat. The landlords are very kind and helpful. Beautiful hiking trails nearby, Annecy and Geneva are reasonably close (25 min and 1h).
