Keranmeriet is set in 100 acres of beautiful Breton countryside, bordered for 1km by the River Aven, woods and wheat fields. We are centrally located only 15 mins from miles of sandy beaches and nearby are the historic towns of Pont-Aven, Quimper and Concarneau. Market town nearby 2km.

Originally a working Farm with traditional Breton stone buildings that have been sympathetically converted to the highest standard and retaining original features. All offer panoramic views overlooking the Aven Valley.

We keep chickens (fresh free range eggs), ducks and turkeys and also have bee hives where we produce our own honey. It's great for children of all ages to explore, climb trees etc. In our meadow we have a Trout Pond with a small island, you can fish for the Trout and cook it on your BBQ for a small charge. You can also explore the tracks around the farm, through the woods and stop for lunch at the Picnic tables in the meadow. There is plenty of wildlife to see; deer, birds of prey, Coypu.

We have seven cottages, five of the cottages have 3 bedrooms, one cottage has four bedrooms and one cottage has one bedroom that is suitable for Guests with disabilities.

Facilities include 36ft Heated Swimming Pool (open end of May to end of September), children's play area, trout lake, farm animals, walks (in the

meadow and 25 acres wood) and free use of bikes (adults and children's).

The cottage is laid out over 3 levels

The ground floor is open plan with a lounge area that has two 3 seater sofas, coffee tables, a wood burning stove, satellite TV, DVD, HIFI, speaker for mobile phone and free WIFI.

A fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, fridge freezer, Tassimo coffee machine).

The dining area has a solid pine dining table with 6 chairs.

First floor - Has two bedrooms, each bedroom has two single beds, bedside cabinets, a wardrobe and either a dressing table or chest of drawers. One has a view of the countryside and the other overlooks the courtyard.

There is also a family bathroom with a shower over a bath and a separate WC.

Second floor - There is a Master bedroom with a double bed, bedside cabinets, wardrobe and dressing table, (hairdryer).

There is also an en suite with a shower cabin, toilet and sink.

Attached is a small reading area with views over the countryside

Odet has a fenced garden with patio, BBQ and garden furniture.

High chairs, cots, stair gates as well as other baby equipment available.

WIFI is free.

Linen and towel hire is not included in the rental as you have the option to bring your own.

As well as the play area, with swings, slide and sand pit there is a barn with a table tennis table and other games inside.

There is also 100 acres of meadow, woods and farmland to explore, with plenty of wildlife.

Hi, We are a family of five who moved from England to France in 2003 to start a new life. We live at Keranmeriet, so are here to welcome our Guests when they arrive and explain about the facilities and the area. Equally though we are not intrusive, so you feel completely at ease when staying here. In each cottage there is a Guest Book, with lots of information on the cottage, the farm, facilities and things to do in the local area. There are also lots of brochures on places to visit, museums, adventure parks, beaches etc. We have 6 other properties on this site, look under Keranmeriet, Melgven. Why can't I call Erika (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Erika (the owner) a message.

If Erika (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
