This outstanding stone-built cottage is in the village of Melling, near to Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria and can sleep two people in one bedroom.Old Crow Trees barn is an outstanding stone-built cottage in the village of Melling, near to Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep two people in one king-size double bedroom, together with a separate bathroom. The cottage also contains an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove, and a ground floor basin and WC. To the outside of the property is off road parking for one car and a lawned garden with patio, decking and furniture. Located in stunning countryside, Old Crow Trees Barn is a fabulous cottage in a fabulous part of the country.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs (1 Smart ), both with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Logs provided on an honesty box basis for stove. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Lawned garden with patio, decking and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 miles. Note: Adults only.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: The quiet village of Melling, in the lovely Lune Valley, is bordered by the famous Lake District to the north, and the Yorkshire Dales to the east. A delightful village situated close to where the River Wenning joins the River Lune. Nearby Hornby Castle is set on a high hill overlooking the river. Consisting of a scattering of traditional stone built houses, a beautiful Norman church and several 'undiscovered' quiet walks around the village and other, more frequented walks and places of interest close by.
