Beautiful cottage in el hierro, in the gentle countryside. Fully furnished and equipped.
Accessible from the rural communities of San Andrés and Isora, but located in an isolated environment, without buildings nearby.
This cottage, exclusive use, was built by my great-great grandparents, back in 1867 (according to the memories of my ancestors still alive). There lived my great-grandmother (MARIA LIMA) when you widowed at age 17, along with his mother, and there are part of the memories of my grandmother and a few of my own childhood. By the chance of life and commitment to my parents house 'arrived' in our hands and we see fulfilled the dream of seeing her again restored from near its ruins.
Was a House linked to the field and livestock, so its surroundings are the quarrymen of old cultivated and occupants power supply, conserving even the tank intact since its construction and part of the hostel in livestock areas.
The House has been distributed in two double bedrooms, one with double bed, a bathroom and a common space for kitchen and dining area. Large windows, the latter allows guests to enjoy an astonishing view to the southeast coast of the island, the village of Isora and the island of la Gomera, in the framework of the amazing Atlantic horizon.
There are no buildings near this rural cottage, only the village of Isora in the lower part of the slope.
Face abroad and their access, has a covered terrace, a comfortable backyard which is accessed from the inside (the kitchen) and an area of entertainment around the House which includes parking area, all within a private estate of approximately 4,000 square meters.
The House of La Lima is located in the limite de Isora and San Andrés, facing South. Close to the barrio Las Rosas (San Andres), in an isolated environment in which only heard the sound of birds, the wind and the bells of the Church of Isora. The location of San Andres in the central plateau of the island allows you to move to a point almost equidistant from the main centres of population, tourist routes and itineraries on foot or bicycle.
The town of San Andres, eminently rural, has been linked intimately to (Nisdafe plateau) agriculture and livestock, mostly sheep this way is likely to have to give way to one of the few flocks of native sheep that remain on the island, on his daily route to the pasture area. The path, from the Centre of the village, runs through a tarmac track that winds its way between the House with rural flavour which awakens the neighborhood of Las Rosas and flows into an area of pastures and orchards surrounded by stone walls, until you get to the track houses on the edge.
