“Great appartment and fantastic hospitality”

Antonio and Cecelia were superb. We arrived quite late in the day one sunday yet they met us on arrival and treated us to some lovely cake/ bread and wine and then drove to an open supermarket to get us some milk. They were available during the week to help us and ensured the taxi Antonio had booked for us arrived for our departure. The appartment was great with lovely sea viewsfrom both balconies, and a special effort made to accommodate our family of 5. The Town is relatively quiet and has lots of bars and restaurants Catering for all choices. The tourist information lent us bikes for free, but get there at 9.20am for 9.30am openning as they run out. We had a great ride through the forest. A bus and train trip to Porto is worthwhile. The beaches were beautiful however the seas often rough and not ideal for swimming but ok for surfing.(more local surf beaches are better for surfing). The complex has however got two pools (cool outdoors and large warm indoor pool) other facilities were also good _ table tennis, squash,gym sauna etc. Some of the kitchen equipment could do with updating but this is a minor issue as it was clean , spacious and well equipped. We had a great time and I would recommend the appartment and hosts. Thanks Rich and Michelle

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
