Description

This is a open plan eco passive chalet/cottage with stunning views over the sea loch complete with its own shore water front.

Only 1 mile outside Fort William shopping centre so easy access to pubs restaurants etc.

Bathroom is equipped with a two person

shower for relaxing after a hard day on the mountains.

The ground floor is bright spacious and open plan with modern kitchen and dining areas all enjoying the breath taking views of the sea and mountains.

The main bedroom is off this area fitted with full sized wardrobes, king size bed and dressing area and a huge LCD tv for a relaxing late night movie and glass of wine.

The upper mezzanine floor has two single beds which can be zip locked to make a Super King size bed if required along with a reading coffee area.

Again this floor has stunning views and a rear balcony for privacy and BBQ grill for your enjoyment or why not wander down onto our beach and enjoy the views and sit in our beach hut.

The accommodation comes complete with large LCD tv's in the main bedroom and living room, plus free wifi and fast internet.

Private off road parking adjacent to the property.

Getting around

We are an-easy 20 minute walk from the high Street should you fancy a tipple and meal without the car. We have a beach hut and picnic area on the beach front which is across the road from your holiday let. Along with a storage area should you wish to bring your canoes with you.

Interaction with guest

We live next-door to the holiday home so can often be there to greet you and show you where things are and hand over the keys. When we are not able to be there we have a key safe on the front door of the holiday to enable you to access the keys. In this case, the code will be sent to use just prior to you coming to stay.

House rules

Unfortunately the holiday hone is not suitable for children under 5 years of age.
This is due to the single bed accommodation being on a mezzanine floor with no door to stop them using the spiral staircase.
Small babies upto 18 months are ok as long as they are put to bed in the travel cot we provide.

“Lovely place with amazing views”

We stayed here for 3 nights it’s is spotlessly clean the bedding was luxury as was the bed. It is really well equipped and decorated throughout. Amazing views out the large windows. Only down side is it can get a little bit up on the bedroom meaning you have to open the 2 roof windows allowing bugs to get in. Beautiful place though in a beautiful country

Beautiful accommodation with great views across the Loch. Really comfy bed and everything you could need for a self-catering holiday. Great place to stay if you want to see the UK's highest mountain - Ben Nevis, check out the silver sands of Morar and ride the Harry Potter train.

One of the best short breaks we have had. The house is amazing with everything you could possibly need. The attention to detail is lovely and the property has the most outstanding views over the Loch. The owners Chris & Da are friendly and welcoming and are on hand should you need anything. We will definitely be back.

We spent 3 days at the Moorings and absolutely loved it! The house is immaculately presented, cosy and furnished beautifully. The views out over the loch are breathtaking and even better from the private beach across the road that you can go down to! Chris and Da were the perfect hosts; very knowledgeable about the area and so helpful. We took our 18 month old son and they provided us with a high chair, cot and baby bath. They even gave us some olive oil on the last night as we had forgotten to pick some up! We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you Chris and Da!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Moorings. The lodge is beautiful clean and well looked after. It had stunning views and was just a short walk from Fort William (about 1 mile) I stayed with my teenage son and daughter, the lodge is quite open plan but perfect for a family break.

We stayed for 3 nights in May and the pictures don’t do this property justice. Fabulous location, amazing view, spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable and a really warm welcome from Chris and Da. It all made it a very special break!
