Description

This is a open plan eco passive climate control cottage with stunning views over the sea loch complete with its own self contained beach hut with fire pit and BBQ and private beach area on the sea loch in front of your accommodation .

Only 1 mile outside Fort William shopping centre so easy access to pubs restaurants etc.

Bathroom is fully equipped with walk in shower for relaxing after a hard day on the mountains.

The ground floor is bright spacious and open plan with modern kitchen and dining areas all enjoying the breathtaking views of the sea and mountains.

The main bedroom is off this area fitted with full sized wardrobes, king size bed and dressing area and a huge LCD tv for a relaxing late night movie and glass of wine.

The upper mezzanine floor has two single beds which can be zip locked to make a Super King size bed if required along with a reading coffee area.

Again this floor has stunning views and a rear balcony for privacy and BBQ grill for your enjoyment or why not wander down onto our beach and use the beach hut instead.

The accommodation comes complete with large LCD tv's in the main bedroom and living room, plus free wifi and fast internet.

Private off road parking adjacent to the property.

Getting around

We are an-easy 20 minute walk from the high Street should you fancy a tipple and meal without the car. We have a beach hut and picnic area on the beach front which is across the road from your holiday let. Along with a storage area should you wish to bring your canoes with you or mountain bikes.

Interaction with guest

We live next-door to the holiday home so can often be there to greet you and show you where things are and hand over the keys. When we are not able to be there we have a key safe on the front door of the holiday to enable you to access the keys. In this case, the code will be sent to use just prior to you coming to stay. Following the Covid 19 please be assured our holiday home is ideally designed to maintain high degrees of cleanliness having underfloor heated floor with no carpets and scatter rugs and bedding changed with each booking. All hard surfaces, mattresses and contact areas plus utensils thoroughly cleaned and sterilised after each booking.

House rules

Unfortunately the holiday hone is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.
This is due to the single bed accommodation being on a mezzanine floor with no door to stop them using the spiral staircase.
Small babies upto 12 months are ok as long as they are put to bed in the travel cot we provide.
No parties or raves.

Sister and I brought our elderly parents for a four night stay. We cannot fault the accommodation, very friendly and knowledgeable owners. View is stunning. Would unreservedly recommend.

This place is amazing. My boyfriend and I stayed here for my 30th Birthday and we had such a great time, we will definitely book here again! We could not believe the price! Such a bargain! The beach front is absolutely beautiful and only a short walk into town and a short drive to the beautiful Glen Nevis! Wish we could have stayed longer! Chris and Da were super friendly and helpful. Thanks so much guys and thanks for the birthday card and fizz! :) :)

The Moorings is a delightful and well-equipped house opposite the shores of Loch Linnhe. Chris and Da are terrific hosts and are on hand should you require help. The house is ideally situated to explore Fort William (a twenty minute walk to town) and the surrounding area or even further afield - we visited Skye, Mallaig, Pitlochry and Oban during the week we were there. The view from the picture windows is difficult to beat and constantly changing. Thanks Chris and Da!
