The beautiful riverside Witham Cottage is just north of the hamlet of Langrick, near Boston. It nestles in charming gardens right next to the peaceful River Witham as it takes its journey from the magnificent city of Lincoln down to the medieval port of Boston. Carefully and lovingly prepared, Witham Cottage is the self-contained annex to a classic Georgian farmhouse occupied by the owners of the cottage.

Enjoy two acres of gardens and the private stretch of the riverbank which is so quiet all you'll hear is the sounds of the countryside or maybe you'll be lucky enough to see a little cabin cruiser bob along in front of you.

You're assured the warmest of welcomes from Kathy and Alan who are always on hand to give you advice on the local area. The self-catering cottage reflects the country style of living and is beautifully equipped for your stay. Pastel decor, solid oak furniture and wooden floors immediately create a quality atmosphere. A smart fitted kitchen with all your pots and pans and a sparkling new en suite shower both add to the experience. The comfortable armchair, the luxurious sofa, an electric wood burner, books, large flatscreen TV, Blu Ray/DVD player and free unlimited Wi-Fi all make for a cosy evening after a wonderful day exploring Lincolnshire's diverse landscapes and attractions.

Witham Cottage is a peaceful and romatic getaway for two people although we can accommodate a couple with a small child on a foldaway bed. If you're planning to take advantage of the flatter parts of our countryside and bring your cycles, we'll store them for you securely for free. Just ask us when you arrive.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kathy (the owner) a message.

If Kathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
