As our guest, you will enjoy a tranquil, well equipped home that is quite unique in this area because it is perched high on the edge of the Rain Forest, overlooking the treetops of the jungle canopy. Birds, Monkeys, Toucans & Wildlife are often visible and abundant.

This Lovely, Secluded, Mountain Gem offers: A Full Kitchen, HotTub Terrace with stunning views of Lake Arenal and the Majestic Arenal Volcano, BBQ Grill, Outdoor Seating and Dining areas, Lush Tropical Gardens & Fabulously large windows that are filled to the brim with panoramic picture perfect vistas. Hacienda Encantada, is a private hillside estate and Future upscale B&B. Our delightful 2 bedroom guest house sleeps up to 6 people and is Spacious, Comfortable,Tastefully Decorated, Family Friendly and also within Walking Distance of the colorful rural Village of El Castillo, which has many tantalizing restaurants, small markets and adventure activities. Any damage to the Hot tub/Spa will incur a $200 penalty. No Children Under 5 Allowed in Spa

We have 1 Very Sweet Jungle Kitties and a Rescue Mutt named Dobby, who live outside on the property, Please treat them with respect and feel free to enjoy and cuddle them Outside of the house.

We Strongly Suggest renting a 4x4 SUV for staying in the Arenal & Monteverde areas.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Nita (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
