How to get there
Lake Arenal is located approximately 3.5 hours drive from either the San Jose or Liberia International Airports. The Arenal area is very easy to access via Route142 and the Drive is Stunningly Beautiful. A 4x4 SUV is strongly recommended for this area due to seasonally rough roads and for ease of access to El Castillo and our own little cow path to paradise!
