Rainforest Mansion!

Our group of 6 adults had the pleasure of staying at this property for 5 days and the pictures do not do it enough justice. The house is located on a mountain and is surrounded by lush green trees, so you have the luxury and comfort of home, but the serenity and seclusion of being out in nature. The house has 3 levels, each having a bedroom and bathroom, with plenty of space and privacy if you have multiple people in your party. The community is also gated with a security guard at the entrance and security system for the house, making it a very safe location. What made the entire experience even more amazing, was the property manager Buck. He was so welcoming and helpful during our entire stay that we felt like family. We were celebrating the birthday of 2 people in our group during our stay and he made arrangements to get us a cake, and even cooked us a delicious meal after the chef we had hired was unavailable!! As well, Buck was nice enough to lend us one of his cars to go around places as we had not rented one. Note a car is recommended if you plan to go to Jaco (about 20 mins drive) and also just to get from the house to any restaurants, beach etc as it is quite a walk up and down the mountain. All in all, It was truly the best hospitality we have received in all our travels over the many years. Highly recommend staying here during your travels to Costa Rica, you will love it!! … see more

The Time of my Life

I spent whole 6 weeks at Casa El Camino. The Loft ist cosy, comfortable and has really nice features like an outdoor kitchen or outdoor bathroom. Everything is super cleaned up and in a perfect condition. Mike and Nicole are the best hosts you can imagine, making you feel very welcome and are always pleased to help or organize trips, massages, yoga, rental gear or whatever you need. As a girl traveling alone I always felt very safe at their property. The most beautiful beach I've ever seen is just a few footsteps away and you also have nice restaurants, shops and supermarkets near by. I joined the yoga class with Nicole everyday at Pranamar resort, which was one of the best experiences I had in my life. Santa Teresa has a special spirit and you're gonna naturally feel relaxed and happy. I will come back for sure as soon as I can! Paradise in the Jungle

Oh my, I don't even know where to begin! It's not the easiest place to get to but that's not negative at all-it's part of the magic! Our first thought was "someone put their heart and and soul into building this place!" It just has that special quality to it. The groundskeeper Gershan is a lovely young man and greeted us upon arrival. He showed us how to navigate the nuances of the home. We loved opening all the doors and letting the sounds of the jungle in. We had planned day excursions but decide we had to stay one full day and just relax and soak in what this property has to offer. Quick note on the amenities and service. The communication from the owners is amazing. I would advise thoroughly reading the welcome packets they send before you get there and again, once you arrive because EVERYTHING you need to know is there. Also, the beds... To die for! I am looking into buying the CocoMats for home. Best nights sleep ever! I would recommend this to anyone who would like to relax, have a romantic getaway, honeymoon... The Parterre of El Camino is an extremely beautiful apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen and the most beautiful bathroom we ever had in the middle of the jungle. The terrace is huge and like a living room with a huge table, many sofas, hammocks, cushions, ventilators, lights.. and the swimming pool. Mike and Nicole are the perfect hosts.
