“Fantastic Accommodation, Peaceful location”

Reviewed 22 Sep 2015

Both myself and my wife came across this property in Donegal “Rosswood House” and what a discovery we made. Set in the most beautiful location overlooking the sea sits this treasure, the house is decked out with the best of everything and is clean beyond perfection. The owner was so helpful, giving us the local history and places of interest to visit, this property is a must for any family or couple who wish to experience a home from home. I will definitely be returning, well done to the owners…you got it right.

“WOW what a Beautiful place, with amazing views”

Reviewed 21 Sep 2015

Stayed for 5 nights, with my wife & kids & enjoyed every minute of it, It was our first time visiting Ireland & will definitely be booking again. Was met on arrival by the owners who couldn't do enough for you & where very pleasant. My comments probably won't do the holiday home justice but it was everything it is described as & more. A lovely large modern house in immaculate condition, in a beautiful location with breathtaking views, great peaceful location & being a lover of the countryside was great to go for walks with the family whilst also being able to do a bit of fishing & a round of golf as these are all nearby. Evening time we where able to relax on the patio with a nice bottle of wine as the kids where kept entertained as wifi is also supplied which is a must these days. Would definitely recommend Rosswood House & will certainly be using it again. Thanks for a great holiday.

Thank you so much for your Kind Words about My Property and really pleased you loved the House so Much and Ireland... Wifi is a must as indeed is High Standard Furnishings and good Value for Money.. “Great find!”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2014

I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding in Harvey's point with a group of friends. What a great find. It was so reasonable (especially compared with the price of hotels in the area). The owner Gareth was nothing but helpful despite a late night wake up call for directions really late on the night of arrival. The house itself is amazing and the setting was gorgeous too. It probably helped that the weather was really nice. A car would be a definite plus if you were staying here. The taxi had no problem dropping us home from Harvey's Point after the wedding but you wouldn't want to be making too much of them trips given the fact that the taxi drivers don't believe in using meters and can tend to be a little pricey. This is not the house's fault though! The house is so well maintained and all the bedrooms and living area/kitchens/bathrooms are gorgeous. The pictures on the website were true to form. If I had to make one complaint it would be the fact that we had difficulty finding it when we arrived. That may be down to the fact that it was so late at night, we were all a little tired and emotional! I would definitely recommend to a friend and I'd like to think we would come back again at some point!

“Fantastic house, locations and views!”

Reviewed 1 Jun 2014

This holiday home is amazing! If you want peace and quiet it is the ideal spot. The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, it has a massive kitchen, several bedrooms, dining area, lounge area with open fire and an amazing view of the bay! Sky TV and broadband included. The landlord is very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be booking again soon!
