The large house (over 100m2 build) over 2 floors is built on the residential complex " Las Dunas" It is furnished to a very high standard, It has all the luxuries which you would expect to make it a "home from home" experience.

The complex has 2 Large swimming pools, which are maintained to a very high standard.

It is situated very close to the new Baku waterpark and all the new facilities of Corralejo. It is within short walking distance of the numerous bars and restauants within Corralejo which are of a very good standard. Now has Broadband /WIFI added for yoiur web enabled devices.

The Canary Islands region

Fuerteventura is the 2nd largest & the nearest to Africa of the 7 Canary Islands. It has a wonderful warm/hot climate with a breeze all year round so very little humidity. Rainfall is approximately only 15 days in the year! This occurrs mainly between November and February. Its white sandy beaches are among the very best in Europe, especially just 2km from Corralejo, where you find the beautiful National Park area with miles of unspoilt white sand dunes all around you! The Atlantic Ocean is crystal clear tourquoise water, providing a wonderful contrast with the dark volcanic attracts surfers from all over the world. It is known as the quieter island of the Canaries, relatively still wild and unspoilt.

We thought it was an ideal place to visit and to buy a holiday home there!


Situated on the northern tip of the island, Corralejo is the biggest and busiest resort on Fuerteventura. Once a working fishing town, it has become one of the most popular destinations in the Canaries. With fantastic year round sunshine and perfect windsurfing conditions, People come from afar to view the rolling sand dunes and magnificent beaches. Whilst in the town centre there are great shops and restaurants and things to for all the family to do, there is a lovely Harbour with frequent trips to lanzarote (20 mins by ferry) and the lovely deserted Island of Los Lobos.

There is something to do for all of the family whether it is windsurfing or other ocean sports or wandering around the local market.

"A very relaxing place for a holiday."

A good modern house on a development mainly inhabited by Spanish locals. The walk to Lajares over the volcanoes has superb views. The boat trip to Lobos (15 euros return) gives you a day on a desert island and is quite wonderful. Corralejo is a real town, unlike many on the island, although it has clearly suffered from over development and has been badly hit by the recession. The town centre however remains a real draw for pubs and restaurants and retains much local character.

"Great stay"

Apartment was great for family of four. Plenty of space and location excellent. We enjoyed the selection of dvds. Would recommend.

"Lovely home away from home in the sun"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Dunas. This was our 2nd time staying here and the experience 2nd time around was as good as the first. The house is in a great location for local restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful blue flag La Oliva beach which we went to most days. The accommodation is bright and well presented and the owners have taken a lot of care to ensure that there is everything that you could want to help you to settle in quickly including a very thoughtful guide to the house, local restaurants and amenities. In addition, they have provided lots of DVDs and CDs which kept the children occupied and really helped made a family holiday with small children much easier.

Town House is beautiful, large, very nicely decorated, great swimming pool. Situated in great location, nearby shops, restaurants/bars. Two minutes from town center three euros by taxi. Will definately be going back.

"A lovely place to stay."

This house has everything you and friends or family will need for your self-catering holiday. The bedrooms are a great size and there is plenty of wardrobe space. The fact that it has two full bathrooms with showers was a bonus as each family had a bathroom to themselves. The kitchen has all the utensils you need and then some.The upstairs has a combined lounge kitchen and diner and also T.V. D.V.D AND Music Centre and is extremely spacious and airy. It was a lovely place to stay for the three weeks we were there. I cant speak highly enough of it. Spotlessly clean, towels and bedding changed weekly and even supplied beach towels, a first off for us. The swimming pool on the complex is just round the corner from the house,sun beds provided, and is just a superb pool. It is also freshwater and was cleaned every morning without fail, as was the great kids pool. For the first two weeks we were there we had the pool to ourselves and in the third week there were a lot of Spanish children , but this did not spoil our enjoyment as they were really friendly. The residents of Las Dunas were most welcoming and friendly and if you wanted to practise your Spanish you only had to talk to the Spanish residents. It is about 10 or 15 minutes walk to the High Street but well worth doing as there are lots of shops and restaurants to sample. As we dont do beach we did not venture to the Dunes but it is about 5mts drive away or 30 mts walk. We are hung on Fuertaventura and hope to go back next year to Corralejo and if we do we would certainly like to stay here again.

"Secure Value for Money rental close to Carrelejo."

We stayed for one week from 7-14/03/12. The directions from the airport were clear and accurate. The property is protected by electronic gates to the site and is therefore secure. There are two pools on the complex which were very quiet when we visited. The property is clean and well stocked with CD's, DVD's and games if you want to spend time indoors. The kitchen has all that is required if you wanted to eat in. There is one double bedroom and two twins. The house is approx a 20min walk into the town or a 5 Euro taxi ride. The water park is only a 2min walk away. There is currently an area of waste ground opposite waiting to be developed but no building work was ongoing when we were there. Overall Carralejo is a very nice resort with a mixture of family entertainment and bars and restaraunts. It was not too busy when we visited but everything was open. The property is well positioned with no noise from other hotels or bars.There is a nice seating area outside which does not get the sun at this time of year but will do in the summer months toward the end of the day. Overall we had a very enjoyable week and the comms from the owner were very good.

"I'd recommend to anyone"

This is a lovely place and I intend to return. Great accomodation, really nice, relaxed place. Three big bedrooms and the house has everything you'd need. Good local amenities. Fantastic beaches all over the island. You need a car to explore the island, but it's relatively cheap and driving round the island is incredibly easy and fun actually. Corralejo is great - definitely the best place to stay in my view.

"The best house we have stayed in Fuerteventura."

The property is very convenient for both town and country. We liked the fact that there is a mixture of holiday and permanent neighbours. The house is modern with everything in good order. When we next visit Fuerteventura this is where we want to stay.

"It was what we had hoped for."

The apartment location was about 10 mins walk from the start of the biz and 20 mins from the harbour area. The apartment itself was excellant. It was clean and modern and there was a wide choice of games, dvd's, books etc to amuse the kids or if if you fancied a night in. We ate out every night and only went back to the same restaurant once. The standard of food and service was excellant. The complex has a large number of residential apartments so we had the large pool to ourselves most days. Sunbeds were supplied by the owner. The beach was 15 min walk and there was a large shopping complex less than 10 mins with a few local shops 2 mins away. Weather can be a bit dodgy in March but we only had a couple of showers over the two weeks. Verdict -we would go back to same location again.
