“Villa Heaven” Our first trip to the Canaries and we find this suberb villa. We were here with our two grown-up children and a friend and we all absolutely loved the place! The layout works beautifully - communal spaces and private spaces in perfect harmony. Spacious, stylish, thoughtfully furnished and sooo comfortable. The tranquil private pool area blending seamlessly with the open plan lounge and kitchen diner. Three very spacious and comfortable bedrooms all with private facilities and if all this wasn't enough the roof terrace has another al fresco dining area as well as a BBQ and a large hot tub. We were very grateful for the pool table too (artfully hidden under the dining table) as we had two days of heavy rain during our stay; very unusual, apparently.
The villa complex is quiet and feels safe and has a good supermarket right nearby. We hired a car to make airport transfer easy, so we were able to make the most of the out of town beaches as well as getting into Corralejo easily. The youngsters enjoyed the aqua park and a catamaran trip to the Isle of Lobos. Corralejo itself has lots of shopping and eating establishments as well as clean beaches and clear sea.
All in all a great place to spend some family time.
Booking, arrival and departure were all very well organised and the hosts were always helpful. Highly recommend a stay here.
“Mary's birthday bash” The villa was super for my 60th birthday bash with sisters and friend. The location was perfect and felt secure for woman on there own. Was just 2 min from beach and many restaurants - would thoroughly recommend 5th Avenue - nothing posh but the food was quality.
“We had a lovely holiday in Fuerteventura and our accommodation Heirro was excellent” Many thanks to Heidi for letting us stay in this excellent accommodation and many thanks also to Colin for looking after us.
From our first enquiry and through the booking procedure everything was dealt with very well. The house has been well looked after and was spotlessly clean. There was plenty of space (especially wardrobe storage) and a comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything necessary for self catering if required. Which was also helped by the excellent new Mercadona supermarket, situated within a few hundred metres.
We did manage to walk into town every evening, although for the last few days we did get a taxi home. At 3-4 euros it was excellent value.
We had breakfast every morning outside in the garden - where the flowers were lovely. Something we did not expect for the time of the year. There was even a "Bird of Paradise" plant - in full flower. Both the garden and the roof top terrace were lovely and the area was very quiet. We didn't use the pool, but it looked lovely.
This was a lovely winter break and we found the house perfect for our needs.
“Relaxing! Perfect place to chill!” Stayed at this lovely villa for my friends birthday - we hired a car so everything was incredibly easy to get to. Mega handy that there's a huge supermarket within 2 mins walk so we could BBQ if we didn't fancy going out for dinner. Perfect location to discover the island or just relax by the pool. Would stay here again in a heart beat! Thanks for having us!
“Wonderful holiday” Stayed here for 4 weeks in February
The apartment is excellent and well equipped for all your needs. So many extras to enhance your stay, very clean and spacious. No complaints whatsoever and excellent service from the owners
A very good location for all amenities
Home from home
Have booked again for next year, withdrew definitely recommend this apartment for a relaxing holiday
“Lovely villa” Lovely villa in a great location, all amenities were close by, gorgeous beach, restaurants and supermarket. The villa was spacious and really homely. Plenty of towels for the bathroom and loungers.
The owners were really helpful and called in on us during our stay.
Definitely recommend a stay here.
“Fabulous, ticked all the boxes!” Loved this house. Had everything we could ask for. The back patio was private and sunny. We loved the rooftop area. It was cooler and we could watch the ships in the harbour. It is close to the shopping centre and certainly walkable to the town centre for restaurants and shops. The pool was perfect for cooling off.
The tv worked perfectly and the kitchen had everything we required.
I have booked this house again as I can't wait to return!.
John was very helpful in all my dealings.
“Highly reccomended beautiful, homely Villa!” I would highly reccomend this villa to anyone who wants a homely, relaxing holiday! Due to the Monarch airline collapse we had to book alternative flights with different dates, however The owner Adel was fantastic and agreed to change dates around with no problem! Adel had been so helpful arranging transfers for us with Steve and Jill a super friendly Geordie couple who made us feel so welcome from the start! As we arrived in the evening on a Sunday the Mercadona (local supermarket accross the road) was closed, but Adel had asked if we would like a few essentials...so Steve & Jill had got some in...Tamara (the housekeeper) had also got some bits and bobs for us including a pizza and some deserts which was so helpful and kind of her, especially having a 22 month old it was nice to be able to chill in for the first night. We later met her in the week, when she came to clean the pool. She is such a down to earth, knowledgeable, lovely lady. We had a great chat and our little girl loved her too!
The villa itself was really clean, cosy and equipped with everything you may need. I really enjoyed cooking their and eating outside on the terrace especially in the evening with the lights by the pool, perfect ambiance. The TV had english channels and we purchased WIFI for €15 unlimited use which was fantastic.
The terrace is gorgeous and is a sun trap! We enjoyed many hours lying/sitting outside and our little girl had loads of fun playing outside and dipping her feet in the pool! It was a little cold for her to swim as it was around 19/20 degrees (Being December) most days and as pool is unheated I was probably being a bit over cautious...but if it were slightly warmer we would have definately had a swim - it was so inviting...
The rooms were cosy and in the wardrobe there was a travel cot which was so useful for us having a toddler, there were plenty of towels and even a pushchair in the wardrobe! A washing machine also meant we could wash most out clothes before returning which was a winner for me.
There is a pizeria on the front of the complex, however we didn't eat here as cooked most days. The Mercadona opposite is a massive supermarket and you should be able to get all of your shopping from here. The freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing and would recommend... About 10 minute walk down the road there is more shops, a british shop (selling English items that are hard to get hold of elsewhere i.e oats, sausages...) we enjoyed icecream and coffee at la secreto (i think that's what its called)! A further 20 minute walk will take you in to the town where there are loads of shops, shopping mall, cafe's, restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at avenida Maritima on the beach front. Our favourite resturant was 'mi casa' and the cocktails were fab from Agua bar! Being 5 months pregnant it was lovely being able to have virgin cocktails too (and little girl enjoyed them as well)
We cant wait to return!
Popular with both foreign and Spanish holidaymakers, Oliva is a beautiful town in Spain’s picturesque orange growing region, just 75 kilometres south of Valencia and 100 kilometres north of Alicante.
Oliva has a 7 kilometre stretch of breathtaking Blue Flag beaches, renowned for their cleanliness, gentle waters, soft sands and useful facilities for families and groups alike. There are plenty of watersports for you to choose from, including water skiing, snorkelling and windsurfing. And with many beaches complete with sand dunes, finding privacy and tranquility isn't a problem.
Holidaymakers love Oliva for its uncrowded beaches and welcoming atmosphere. With a perfect Mediterranean climate and over 230 days a year of hot weather, who can blame them?
Things to do
As well as enjoying the natural beauty and rejuvenating coastal walks, you can enjoy Oliva’s 18 hole golf course, Oliva Nova Golf.
The area is also great for food lovers, with a rich culinary scene and esteemed restaurants serving up regional specialities like Coques a la Clafó, La Espardenyá, Figatells and Pebreres Farcides. If you fancy a day out, Gandia, with its historical buildings such as the Collegiate Church, Old University and Ducal Palace, is just a short bus journey away. Plus, with Valencia and Alicante nearby, you’re not far from the action should you want to visit.
In Oliva’s charming old town you’ll come across two churches, both with stories to tell from centuries ago: Sant Roc and Santa Maria la Major. Sant Roc dates back to the 18th century, while Santa Maria was built in the 17th century. For awe-inspiring views, head to the top of the hill and you’ll discover Santa Anna Castle, constructed in the 16th century!

Holiday Apartment Corralejo
No faults whatsoever. Apartment was spacious and had everything you could need. Garden is huge and a sun trap. Pool is super when you need to cool down. Adele always replies promptly and is friendly and happy to help. We arranged airport transfers through Adele and Steve kindly picked us up and dropped us off. Thank you Steve! We were even able to stay late in the apartment on departure day which helped us immensely. Will definitely return. The walk to town was not an issue for us. Only 25 mins or so. Fantastic time. "PARADISE APARTMENT" 1 MINUTE TO THE BEACH "Wifi Free,Tv satélite.
Very spacious apartment situated 2 minutes from El Campanario shopping village which has a supermarket, shops and restaurants, with occasional live music. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering holiday, and even a full size gymnasium for your own use. The beds are probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in on our many holiday rentals. The owners live in the same building, and are very friendly and welcoming and always on hand to help with anything you may need. The welcome pack upon arrival was very much appreciated. A 10 minute walk takes you to the main street of Corralejo with its many bars and eateries, and an even shorter walk in the opposite direction takes you to the beach. All in all, a very enjoyable stay. If you are looking at this apartment, do not hesitate to book. A big thank you to Araceli and her husband for making us feel very welcome. …
