10 The Belfry is a two-storey terraced house. It is a recently built house in a small development of houses located on a height at the edge of the town. It is in a quiet location overlooking the pretty multi-award winning town of Clonakilty and only five minutes walk from the town centre. Clonakilty is a small coastal town in West Cork, an area renowned for its natural unspoilt beauty, its many sandy beaches and its friendly and welcoming people. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Ireland and has won prizes in national and international competitions for its tidiness and beautiful flower displays during the summer. It boasts a host of lively pubs many featuring traditional Irish music and dancing. Clonakilty is the beach centre of West Cork (which is also known as the Irish Riviera) having up to a dozen sandy beaches nearby.There are many leisure activities such as fishing, surfing, boating, horse-riding, walking or cycling along quiet, scenic country routes
