From the owner

A few kilometres from Madrid, watered by the Tajuña and history, we find Chinchón, a noble Castilian town full of charm and beauty. In the narrow streets of the upper part of the town we find the farmhouse 'La Graja' village with more than two hundred years of life, a nice house completely restored and accommodated to enjoy a few days of rest.

The Graja', has 8 rooms, decorated individually, full of charm and preserving its structure and original walls. The old trojes to store grain and wood beams have made that no room is the same as the rest.

This does not remove so that they are perfectly equipped, with bathroom, TV, fridge, heating, air conditioning, wifi, dvd...

All rooms overlook the main gallery with excellent views of the courtyard, turning it into a cozy room, ideal for reading, table or the gathering, games also shares a breakfast room where fresh fruit and homemade cakes will be even more enjoyable stay.

But without a doubt the jewel of the House is its arcaded courtyard with columns of the old condal Palace, destroyed during the French invasion of 1808, and re-used to hold this old house galleries. The color of the plants, the singing of the birds and the murmur of the water make this the perfect place to spend a few days soaking in the customs, history and good do people of this famous and hospitable people.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send David (the owner) a message.

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
