About our Vacation Home.

Enjoy your stay in this elegant, cozy and modern apartment located in the noblest district of Florence. The apartment is immersed in the historical center of Florence, walking distance from the major sights of the city (Academy Gallery, Duomo Cathedral, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio etc....) and surrounded by many great restaurants, shops, grocery store and markets. Very quiet during the day and night thanks to car access restrictions. Ideal for family and friends who want peaceful enjoying Florence's tourist attractions.

The Place

The apartment is located on the first floor of a nice and noble building built in 1900.

The apartment consists of four rooms:

Two comfortable and bright bedrooms, one with double bed and another with two single beds both with not-flammable mattress.

One living room with a kitchen, equipped with TV, refrigerator, oven, coffee machine, etc….

One bathroom with shower, bidet, hair-dryer and window.

One laundry with a washing/dryer machine, ironing board, and iron.

The apartment is equipped with air conditioners in all rooms and windows from which you can admire a gorgeous view of the Duomo.

Guest Access

Being right in the city center there's no need for a car. We suggest using either taxi or public transportation. Car access restriction and difficult parking may upset your pleasant stay. If you plan to rent a car, toll parking is available 500m from the apartment.

The way to Duomo is a pleasant walk of about 8 minutes, while the Michelangelo's David and Botanic Garden are just a couple of blocks away.

Getting around

There is a bus stop just a few meters away, from where you can take buses for all main location, including train station of Santa Maria Novella which is also reachable with a 20min walk (1,5km).

Guests can stay in Florence and visit the following notorious destinations:

San Gimignano town (an hour driving)

Chianti valley: (43 minutes driving) Chianti DOCG tasting.

Siena: (1 hr 14 minutes driving)

Museo dell'Opera del Duomo: (5 minutes walking)

Lake Como: (4 hr 20 minutes driving)

The apartment is served with Internet access (W-LAN).

No smoking - no pets allowed

Couples days before your arrival in Florence please contact us via email to arrange a time to meet you at the apartment to give you the keys. If for any reason your time of arrival changes, let us know as soon as possible so we can arrange a new appointment.

Please note that it is not possible to arrive at the apartment without an appointment since we have other arrivals and commitments during the day.

THE FOLLOWINGS ARE FEES TO BE PAID IN CASH AT TIME OF ARRIVAL:

- Check-in: €30 from 2:00pm to 12:00am. A surcharge of €20 may apply for check-in after 10:00 pm.

- Cleaning fee of €50 per stay to be paid upon departure (cash).

- A crib and/or high chair can be added at no additional cost.

- Extra cleaning, sheets, and towels change are available during your stay upon request for a cost of €30

Thank you for the positive review. I also wanted to thank you for leaving the apartment in great order. As for the second bedroom we are studying the best solution so the noise can be limited even further. Unfortunately this is an issue that regards most of the apartment located in the city center.

Why can't I call Fabio (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fabio (the owner) a message.

If Fabio (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
