"As soon as we arrived we knew we should have stayed longer"
Charming spacious cottage with a very welcoming host. Adults enjoyed relaxing by the fire in the evenings. Kids (9 and 11 years) enjoyed playing in the garden, and we were all extremely excited to spot the resident red squirrel in the garden one morning. We had been travelling for a month and really enjoyed the chance to stop in such a lovely and peaceful location for a few days. We definitely would have stayed longer if we'd had the time.
Dear Angela and Dave, I hope you enjoyed your onward journey! Many thanks for your positive review. I look forward to perhaps welcoming you again if you should decide to make a similar trip in the future. Best Regards Andrew

"Idyllic.......A little piece of heaven"
Have stayed at this charming house twice now and will definitely be back in summertime. It is an authentic rural France experience. The house is secluded but still just a 10 min walk to nearby town of Brecey where you will find everything you need. There was lots to explore around the garden and orchard with lots of fruit and nuts which the owner was happy for us to harvest and eat. The house is very rustic yet has all mod cons a real home from home..
Thank you for your review of La Belle Etoile. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again soon Best Regards Andrew

"You have to see this to believe it!"
Spacious and comfortable accommodation within walking distance of all amenities. Brécey is set in some stunning countryside and, while the district is quiet and peaceful, it is not too far from anywhere. Ideal for walking, cycling, driving or anything else. We had a lovely time and Andy is a great host with a wealth of local knowledge and a good command of the English language.
Thank you for the review of your recent stay, we were really glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday with us so much and we look forward to you staying again soon? Best regards Andrew
