Abhainn Cottage is the perfect luxury hebridean hideaway. Located in the quiet village of breasclete by the shores of loch Roag it is perfectly situated for exploring the white sandy beaches and the mysterious ancient monuments Lewis & Harris have to offer.

The cottage has stunning views across loch Roag and over to the hills of Lewis & Harris and has been finished to create a luxurious self catering experience in the surroundings of a traditional lewis croft house.

The main downstairs bedroom has a luxurious superking bed and the highest quality oak furniture and the en-suite spa bathroom has been finished to the highest standard with underfloor heating, rain shower, whirlpool jet bath and sauna.

Upstairs you will find another luxury double bedroom with it's own en-suite with mood lighting, rain shower and underfloor heating.

The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen complete with an American fridge freezer and top of the range cooking appliances along with it's own dining area.

In the living room you can relax in our luxury leather couches while looking out onto the mountain views or at night you can have a cosy night in front of the fire and watch your favorite movies on our full SKY HD package.

In the summer months you can soak up the sunshine out on your own private decking area while gazing into the hills of Lewis & Harris.

Relax and unwind and have your own private spa treatments in the comforts of our treatments room with our carefully selected therapist.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kathleen (the owner) a message.

If Kathleen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
